I am so surprised by the glowing reviews of this place. The gentleman owner is rude every time I go here. I guess he doesn't have to worry, since all the bus tours load this mans pockets. Been going here for years. Remember when it was simply a garden shed by the side of the road. Fantastic pretzels in the summer hand made by the women. Lots of home made goodies to eat too. This is a must stop every trip. We go about 4-5 times annually. More

After learning about the Countryside Road Stand on TA, we had to visit. There is a great variety of very reasonably priced crafts and baked goods available in the store. We had excellent soft pretzels and homemade root beer! For visitors with small children, there are a variety of animals to be seen in the side yard. More

This once small roadside stand is a must visit. It's out of the way (which my husband and I loved about it) and the drive there is beautiful.
