I am in Adamstown every weekend. 20 years ago Shupps was great. I would also go there on Thursday after the extrav in Kutztown. It was $5 to get in. The place was packed. Next they started to play with the formula. The admission doubled to $10 and I like many other collectors stopped going on the Xtrav days. Less... More

We arrived after many of the sellers had packed up and left, so it was a big disappointment! We were not aware that the sellers close down at 4 p.m. We arrived at 3:30 p.m.unfortunately.

We have been going here for years. The antiques market has definitely softened so there are less dealers than 5 years ago like almost any other market). Still it's the challenge. We usually go on Sunday so there may be more traffic and dealers on Saturday. While they are open before 8:00 am not all the dealers are about yet... More

True, the Grove has declined in dealer numbers the past few years from the days when it was like a great, smoky medieval market but it's still my favorite of all of the Adamstown "antique" places. Seems like we find a great bargain every time. The dealers are friendly and easygoing.

A fun way to spend a summer day traipsing up and down the aisles looking at all the flea market goodies. Many tables make me feel like I'm back in my grandmother's attic. For $20 spent last time I got two nautical pictures, an antique jar and small dog figurine! Food available and clean restrooms.

This is located about two miles south of Reading Road, the main antiques area in Adamstown. We spent about an hour here browsing around the market. I thought the selection and quality of goods were good. I would come back here again.

We visit Shupp's Grove once or twice a season. This time we found mostly the same vendors, with the same stuff as last year! This was supposed to be one of their "yard sale" weekends so I expected more.

Not many vendors were open due to the excessive heat, and my late arrival, but I still left satisfied with my finds.
