Great view all seasons. Enjoy seeing the city and local area from top of mountain. Good little gift shop and cafe.

Look up into the mountains behind Reading and you would think you are in Japan. This was a gift to the city years ago. Amazing to visit, you will have breath taking views. At night it is all lit up so you can see the red Pagoda for miles!

I have grown up with this landmark and I have always loved it. I have watched it go through several transitions and each time it gets better and better, One thing I wish they would do is work on the surrounding area that you look over from the pagoda, the area could be made into beautiful gardens. Over looking the... More

Well Reading is a strange city were one street has that beautiful old town charm and the next is surprisingly dirty and makes you want to run fast. The place at night is a beautiful sight of the city lights, quick trip up the mountain and enjoy rhe view for a few minutes.

can't beat the view! But that's all there is is a view. A tiny little overpriced gift shop inside and that's it. A must see for out of towners. But you won't wanna stay too long

The Pagoda is a beautiful place to visit. The view from the mountain is amazing. There is a little cafe there where you can enjoy light refreshments. The sunsets at the Pagoda are incredible.

I guess any first time visitor to Reading has to drive up the hill to see what the strange, lighted building is at the summit. That is just what I did and have since learned that the Pagoda is actually the place the local kids go to, well, get away from prying eyes. The structure is great, the views amazing,... More

Worth seeing once. Not much to do once you reach the Pagoda. Off season restroom access is nil. Nothing inside to see. On a clear day, it gives a nice view of the valley provided there is not alot of haze or pollution. No cost involved. No real attraction for the kids at this one.

This anachronistic structure high on a hill overlooking the city of Reading is a nice day trip. There is a limited menu "restaurant", but not bad at all. As you walk up flights of stairs, you get to see some interesting artifacts and images.
