Being a long time yuengling fan, my friend and I were overjoyed to finally get to see the brewery. We had no idea what to expect, but were certainly not disappointed. The drive there was so beautiful and the town felt so authentic and sweetly Americana in a way. Everyone who worked at the brewery was so nice and knowledgable.... More

Have you ever been to a brewery? I have now been to just 2. One in Canada and this one. As with most tours the key is the guide. Ours was par excellence. I think her name was Stacey. She was loud enough, clear enough, and informative enough. Hearing the story of the oldest brewery is what make this somewhat... More

Living in California we're used to wine tasting but beer tasting? Yes! The tour was just OK but there's really not too much to work with.........old machinery is old machinery. But the free beer tasting at the conclusion was a very nice surprise. And the beer was even better than expected. Unfortunately Yuengling is not sold here in California. If... More

This was my first time at a brewery tour. My girlfriend's beer of choice is Yuengling so we decided to stop on our way from New Jersey to Ohio. We arrived kind of early so we spent a while looking around the gift shop and museum. They had a good amount of merchandise and prices were fair. It was cool... More

Ok I think I could give this tour... We take friends and family here every time they come to town... We enjoy seeing the faces as they walk the brewery and hear the story of probation, oldest beer and the store of ice cream!! I am saying nothing more you will have to visit to hear the story. Remember no... More

The tour was very nice and the tour guides were full of information and incredibly friendly. Our tour lasted about 45 minutes to an hour. The tasting was a bonus. The gift shop was nice and well stocked. The tours do get very full, we were told many have 50+ in a single tour group. Make sure you wear closed... More

Awesome history tucked away here in Pottsville, PA. They offer tours of the brewery that take you through tunnels built into the mountain. Make sure you bring shoes or sneakers, no sandals or opened toe shoes allowed.

Amazing tour of the oldest brewery in the US! Our tour guide for the Yuengling Tour was fun and full of info! Love that this is a real working factory and you can see the behind the scenes operations. The tour took us to their old keg filling room (with a great description of how the kegs used to be... More

We went on a Mon thinking it wouldn't be very crowded. We were wrong! They had to split us into 2 tours - about 50 ppl in our group and 75 in the group after us. You MUST wear closed toe shoes. If you show up in flip flops, they refer you to their box of sneakers you can look... More

Loved the Free tour of the brewery. Interesting place that included a tour of the cave underneath. Sample at the end was a BONUS. Caution: Lots of stairs. I'm not sure if I saw an elevator. The gift shop/museum has lots to see and buy, as well. From there we went to Cabela's about 30 minutes (or less) away.
