Great Tour, Got to see where they had beer stored in the 1920's when it was not legal to sell beer, down in the caves. Saw the cans being filled and the fantastic "stained glass celling" of course we sampled beers!! Wicked old building, but it works for production. Great gift shop !!

Visited the Brewery again this year and took the tour. Had a Fantastic Guide (Debbie) and got to see some things that we didn't catch the last time. Saw bottling last year and this time canning. Best part about going this time of year is that you get to sample their Octoberfest Brew. This is a must for anyone interested... More

The brewery offers a free tour of the facilities, which is well worth your time. You are given the history of the company since conception- the oldest brewery in the US. The tour of the cellar shows you where they orginally stored the kegs while they aged and the brick walls that the government put up during the 20's. The... More

The tour through the oldest brewery in the U.S. is pretty incredible!! The history of this place goes back through prohibition times and you even get to tour the depths of the underground caves! After the tour, there's a beer tasting. Sample two glasses of beer of your choice...what more can you ask for? All free!!! The souvenir shop is... More

Interesting and free tour of the Yuengling brewery and some samples at the end of the tour. Our tour guide was very good and gave us a lot of great tidbits of info.

We have been fans of Yuengling beer since first tasting it years ago so decided to go to the source when in the area. The town of Pottsville is a very pretty town with a vibrant downtown area. The brewery is just a couple blocks from the main street against the hill where the early brewers cut into the hill... More

This is America's oldest brewery, and being a beer lover visiting the area, was a must see. First thing to be aware of, is that the tours (capped at 55 people per group) fill up fast, so be early. when first entering through the side door, a staff member greets you, checks ID, and gives you a colored wrist band.... This still active brewery is Americas oldest and is setup for daily touring which was the purpose of our visit. The tour begins in the gift shop before heading to the 50 degree caves below the building which were once used for refrigeration and storage. You then work your way up through the brew rooms and bottle/canning rooms before ending... More
