Wow, what a building and square around. Really something to see. There are a few tables to sit outside to eat, wish we did that, but still, we took great photos...

We had a really great time skating here! The downtown area near Market Square is really pretty and they still have the Christmas tree up. I took my two older boys and one of their friends and my five year old. The cost was $50 for all of us, which was a little pricey. The kids had a fabulous time.... More

The ice rink at PPG PLACE is awesome. The 60 ft Christmas tree is beautiful at night. With all the glass windowed buildings and extra white twinkle lights in the trees that surround the rink it's magical. If you have ever wanted to travel to NY to Rockefeller Center to skate around the tree...forget it. Go to Pittsburgh it's a lost... More

The 65 foot Christmas Tree at PPG place was beautiful. The Santas of the World and Gingerbread House display was outstanding. Loved every minute!

If you are into magnificent architectural designs, this is a 'must-see'. I know people from Germany who were very anxious to see this group of buildings. In the summer, 140 water jets pleasure kids (OF ALL AGES), with 280 underground lights and surrounding tables; in the winter it becomes an ice skating rink, right in the center of town.

We were at PPG PLace to see the 16 Santas from Around the World and just loved all of them. Due to our ethnic background, we lived the Santa from Poland and the St. Nicholas from Germany. All of them were wonderful and the explanations were great. Loved the hundreds of Gingerbread Houses and the big Christmas tree and the... More

The ice skating rink, winter garden, holiday village and central location make this a great stop with family during the holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there this year and look forward to going again!

The whole area around PPG Place interesting. The architecture is very cool and the reflection of the glass gives it a great appearance. It's awesome during the holidays, you should see it.

This building is home to several businesses located in Pittsburgh, but it was originally commissioned, built and owned by PPG (Pittsburgh Plate Glass, Pittsburgh Paint & Glass, whatever...), a Fortune 200 company whose corporate headquarters still command the top floors. It is truly beautiful, but not much of a destination in & of itself (other than for architecture buffs). However,... More

We did not go here. We just viewed the building from across the water but the architecture is absolutely wonderful with this building. You must take a look at this when you visit Pitt.
