Eat or at least have a drink at Shiloh Grill. If you just want a snack during the day try the Grandview Bakery.

Mount Washington is a must! There are two inclines (Duguesne and Monongahela). Regardless of what others have said... you should take the Monongahela Incline. At the top of the incline, there are local stores (Walgreens, Groceries and a couple of bars). The view is gorgeous! This is where I took all of my pics. We took the Duquesne Incline the... More

The view from Mt Washington is worth the trip but if you're taking the inclinator, beware of many, many steps. Recommended: night view.

You can overlook the entire downtown area from one of the platforms IF you dare walk out onto it. Yo must catch the Duquesne incline up the mountain for an even more exciting experience! Mount Washington is very romantic, naturally beautiful... No complaints except for the thugs in the cars with the loud music and skateboarders that mess up a... More

Pittsburgh, once known as the smoky city, now has an award-winning view of skyscrapers surrounded by three rivers, which meet at The Point. The best place to see all this is from Mount Washington, at any one of it's scenic restaurants. The best is Isabella's, but LeMont is also good, as well as the Grandview. Try them all!

This is an experience no Pittsburgh visitor should ever pass. Walk around Mount Washington or stop in one of the restaurants to get a great view of the city. The incline technology is incredible; to think people rode it, took a boat, then walked to work every day, is refreshing. Be sure to check out the photos displayed at the... More

Beautiful with awesome view. I always take out-of towners here for a view of the city.

I lived on the Mount for years. Came back for a visit trying to have an outsider's eye for the city. It's really a great town.
