Really spectacular view of Pittsburgh. It's my first time in Pittsburgh and this was really great outdoor activity I did with my husband. If your big on scenery I highly recommend. And if your trying to drive up the mountain don't gps "mount Washington" use "LeMont Restaurant, 1114 Grandview Ave" we spent about 1 hour up there taking pictures and... More

Wife took me here for a weekend visit for my birthday. University of Pittsburgh campus and surrounding areas are great to expire and photograph. Plenty of places to walk to, great mix of old and new architecture, ample eateries. Recommend the cathedral of learning, Carnegie museum.

Having never been to Pittsburgh, I thoroughly enjoyed the drive up to the top of the Mt. The views are spectacular, there was a wedding party getting photos taken while we were there. Next time I visit, I am going to take the cable car up to the top for the experience.

You MUST see the view from the top. Ride up one incline and walk the long walk over to the other for the ride down. Not much to do at the top. Restaurants are clustered mainly around the Monongaheia Incline area at the top. Apparently if you have a Senior Ride Transit Free card from any city in PA you... More

Great view of the city and enjoyed the incline up the mountain...fresh air didn't hurt either. Coffee shop was average because the owner looked depressed

The best way to enjoy the birds eye view of Pittsburgh is with a stroll along Mt Washington. Combine with a ride up & down incline and don't forget your camera!

Mount Washington offers one of the world's best-kept-secret urban views of downtown Pittsburgh, and the Golden Triangle. Well-placed viewing platforms provide you an unobstructed, spectacular look at the three rivers that frame the city. Go at night for an especially beautiful sight -- made even more beautiful if there is a game at Heinz Field or PNC Park.

Worth the trip, either drive or take the incline for one of the most beautiful views of Pittsburgh! Best to go on a clear day or in the evening when the city lights are on, spectacular view.
