The view of the city is just breath taking. Miss it at your cost. A simple place offering a lovely view. Highly recommended.
Get a bird's eye view of the 'Burgh and enjoy walking along Grand View Drive--it's really grand! there's a place to get ice cream, go up and down one of the inclines, take pictures at the scenic overlooks.
This is the it place to see Pittsburgh skyline with all it's bridges and three rivers. Truly a must see for visitors and always nice for us locals to appreciate where we live.
Very amazing view . You can see Pittsburgh skyscrapers & the river from there. If you visit Pitt. make sure to go there. Salem

We found it eventually - but recommend plugging in the Carnegie Library in GPS (Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Mt. Washington - 315 Grandview Avenue - Pittsburgh, PA 15211) as destination - Garmin kept sending us to a dot on Mt. Washington that was not "the" view. With that destination- you'll find the proper overlook.
Mount Washington has so many very good places to eat. The view is hard to describe but the best view of the city by far. If you get the chance to go up to Mt Washington at night the city looks amazing all lit up.
