If you are visiting Pittsburgh and want to go to a main attraction that is really the best kept secret of the city, come here. The overlooks show you the majestic skylines of Pittsburgh, but at night during Christmastime, its the best place to be. Come here to enjoy a real part of Pittsburgh, then take the incline down to... One of the better views I've seen, mainly because it's closer and hence looks prettier. A must see place in Pittsburgh. Go to both the inclines viewpoints.

A trip to Pittsburgh isn't complete without a visit to the incline. The views are truly awesome and thrilling. Take loads of photos. You can see our newly renovated "point" which marks the confluence of the Allegheny & Monangehela Rivers, forming the Ohio.

The title sums it up. View is all that and more. A breath taking view of the city of Pittsburgh. In one sweeping view you can see it rivers and bridges for which is only one of Pittsburgh's reasons for being famous. You are perched above the incline. No better view in the city.

I'd like to give it a 3.5 out of 5. Fantastic view of the "golden triangle" in Pittsburgh. Very steep and tall hill/ridge along the Monongahela and Ohio Rivers. Interesting neighborhoods on steep and windy streets, the homes ranging from dumpy and dingy to very nice and edgy. Several very good restaurants at the top overlooking the city. Parking is... More

The views from this entire cliff side area are awesome and the observation point is great for pictures and sightseeing. You can see the whole city, bridges, stadiums, water...really cool. Be warned though if you don't get good directions you can very easily get lost.

Although not quite as spectacular as other vistas, such as the Pacific Northwest and NYC, this was a decent view of a very large area. Plenty of parking alongside Grandview Avenue and some truly unique architectural design on the houses overlooking the vista. Be careful NOT to follow GPS to the actual Mount Washington PARK, which is a small, out... More

We took the Monongahela incline up to the top of Mt Washington and walked along Grandview Avenue to see the city. Great photo ops and a nice walk, plus the incline is fun to ride.

Anyone who comes to "the Burgh" has to make a trip to Grandview Avenue to visit Mt. Washington. Perhaps theist scenic spot to take in the amazing view of the "City of Three Rivers" it's called Grandview for a very good reason! Great view of The Golden Triangle where the three rivers converge - the Allegheny, the Monongahela which flow... More
