If you're visiting the 'burgh for the first time or are a return guest looking for a must-see attraction, this is the place you want to be. Mount Washington in Pittsburgh is the most amazing view of any city anywhere in the US. I may be biased... I live here... but I've traveled enough to know that this is incredibly... More

I always love going to Mount Washington. There are several ways to get a great view of the city by Mount Washington; the inclines are wonderful to take, the city tours often go to Mount Washington, and you can always drive up. The homes there are wonderful. I like that you can see multiple areas of Pittsburgh just from Mount... More

You can take the Duquesne Incline to the bottom of the hill, cross the bridge, and go to the point and walk around on a nice day. You have to have cash to pay at the bottom of the incline. Someone drove their car through the fencing at the top and almost went down the mountain but were stopped by... More

Yes - check out Mt. Washington. Whether you're in town for just a day or are here for a longer stay, it's worth seeing the city and our three rivers from up there. You can easily drive up and park for free along the road near the overlooks . Or, you can ride up from the river on one of... More

A trip up Mount Washington gives you a great view of the city. You can start from the bottom and take one of the inclines up if you wish. I always like city views because it gives you some perspective. Mount Washington is no exception to this rule. I'd recommend a visit!

in most cities, to capture this view, you would need to charter a helicopter; in Pittsburgh, it's free... just an incline ride away from the Station Square complex! It's a mandatory stop for out-of-town guests, offering a bird's eye view of the Golden Triangle!

The first place to take visitors to Pittsburgh would be Mt. Washington in the evening. The city has an inspiring aura when its lit up.

To see the city of rivers from the top of Mt. Washington is an experience of magic, beauty and amazement! Walking along the avenue on a balmy night with a view of the sparkling city is a real memory of The Burgh!

No trip to Pittsburgh is complete without a drive up PJ McCardle Roadway or an incline ride to Mount Washington. You can take in the vistas of the most livable city form a number of platforms and on a clear day the view is spectacular. Don't miss this site!

The incline railroad had a line so we drove up and took the scenic route. Once up on top, what a view of the center of Pittsburgh!
