All you need to know is that I live 15 minutes away and every time family, friends, or business associates visit me, this is the first place I take them. The view is spectacular and is actually rated amongst the best views in the country by various media outlets. It's better at night. More

Visitors should not miss the view of Pittsburgh's Point and Cityscape from the observation decks on Grandview Ave, the promenade located at the top of the Duquesne and Monongahela Inclines. When people are visiting from out of town, this is a must see. If you're eating or doing other activities then take the Monongahela Incline, if you're just seeing the view from here, then I recommend the Duquesne Incline which has free parking at the base. What a beautiful view of downtown.. It was bright and sunny when I headed out there. Could see the stadiums from right across and of course the rivers. Tip- Carry your sun-glasses on a sunny day and wear comfortable shoes More
