Make your move at overlook on Mt. Washington

Outstanding view, romantic. My future husband transitioned our friendly relationship here in the early 1980s. Take a chance and make your move. A journey awaits you both!

This is open so late, we went at like 11pm. It's not expensive, I can't remember what we paid but maybe like 5.00/pp. The view at night is very pretty. We didn't go during the day but I'm sure that's nice as well. The train is so old so we were a little nervous traveling up a steep rail with... More

Took the Mo up the mountain and the Duquesne down. Walked along the overlook to get from one to the other. Beautiful sights.

Went in evening of holiday weekend so line was very long but wait was surprisingly short and great view while waiting. History is very interesting.

It is a good place to see the downtown of Pittsburgh. However, there are not too many restaurants here. I don't think you can spend much time here. So please schedule your time to visit here

Great place to visit, day or night. A must when in Pittsburgh! Both lifts to the top of Mt. Washington are nice. Take one up, walk about a mile, and take the other down.

My husband and I come to Pittsburgh often and while we were driving around one afternoon looking for a restaurant to eat at we just happened to find this lookout spot. Parking wasn't bad at all, yet many of the lookout spots were crowded on a Saturday afternoon. It's an awesome view of the city, make sure you get pictures!

This is a must for anyone visiting Pittsburgh. Really nice views of the stadium and downtown. Try going at night as well.

We rode the Duquesne Incline up, walked around Mt. Washington, saw the sights, ate lunch, and rode the Monongahela Incline down. Buy tickets for the inclines, rather than paying cash. A one-way ticket plus a transfer is all that is needed. It only costs $7 for 2 people - round trip. The views from Mt. Washington are spectacular. There are... More

Pittsburgh is quite hilly. Climb Mount Washington by car or, better yet, by cable car called incline here ( you have a choice of two) and be rewarded with a fantastic view of the city, its three rivers, Heinz Field (Steelers), PNC Park (Pirates), the Point, the picturesque houses and churches on the Southside. Not many cities can boast having... More
