It was a great view of the city. This was the first tram up a mountain I have ever been in. It was an antique but got the job done. The view I will remember most about Pittsburg though is coming through the tunnel from the airport and the city just appears! Awesome. Cheers

Live the history of Pittsburgh by taking one of the two inclines up Mt Washington to enjoy the views of the city.

Great place to take some wonderful wedding shots especially if it is a nice day out. We got some awesome shots of the city skyline and river. The city has done a great job cleaning up the area!

When we finally were able to get directions to get across the bridge and drive up to Mount Washington....we really enjoyed the view. Also, loved the beautiful tiger lillies planted near the top. Unfortunately, it wasn't as clear of a sunny day as we would have liked, but we thought this was the best attraction in Pittsburg.

We went up one incline and walked a mile to the other incline to go back down. The views are amazing!! Def something to do while in Pittsburgh!! Doesn't cost much unless you eat at one of the restaurants up there.

Great panoramic views of Pittsburgh downtown and many of the surrounding communities. Many great photo opportunities and it's coming to see wedding parties or prom pictures taking place. Parking can be tricky on weekend, so if you have time park at station square and ride the incline up mount washington to grand view ave. Check out Monterey Bay if you... More

We used the incline to get to Mount Washington and I thought for 2.50 round trip it was worth it. The view once you got to the top was incredible. There are a few nice bars there, but for the most part, the area was not what I expected (a bit "shady" off of the beaten path).

I am a native and have been to Mt. Washington a million times. The view never ceases to amaze. Any time of day, day of the week, time of the year treats you to a different perspective. You can think back to frontier times when Native Americans may have peered down from the exact spot on which you stand to... More

The views from up here are fantastic. If for nothing else, get here for the view. We had dinner up here with a nice view and enjoyed walking around but the single most impressive experience was the view of Pittsburgh from the platform next to the Duquesne Incline - beautiful clear sky with softening late afternoon lighting on the water,... The incline is... Anticlimactic if you will. The view at the top is what it is all about. Just drive to the top of the mountain and take in the view, that's what it is all about!
