If you want to see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh, day or night, this is the best vantage point in the city.

This is on the top of the mountain just on the other side of the river from the city. You get an awesome view of the city for free. Their are atleast 2 viewing platforms. Street parking is free near them. Best way to get there is by taking the liberty bridge and turn right, right before the liberty tunnels.... More

I love going up to Mt Washington and walking around and looking at the views of the city. Some of the best views in the US -- I believe a travel magazine recently listed the Mt Washington view as the 2nd best in the US after Sonoma.

Took the incline up. I enjoyed my walk up there. Had drinks and bought art off a street vendor. Had a nice time. Photo ops.

A nice spot to view the pittsburgh downtown. There is a street parking in the area, very close to the overlook balcony. You can also take the cable car up there.

When you come to Pittsburgh, going to the top of Mt. Washington is an absolute must. Grandview Avenue is the place to go. Park your car and step outside on one of the overlook terraces. The view is magnificent. You will see Heinz Field, PNC Park, the amazing fountain at Point State Park and you will get a birds eye... More

Head up here on the funicular railway for a great view of the downtown area and keep walking along the viewing platforms for different angles of the confluence, rivers etc but especially Heinz Field (if you're a Steelers fan or going to a game). $2.50 one way or $3.50 return (but the return to be used within 3 hours).

Went up the incline from Station Square. Walked there from downtown over the Smithfield St. Bridge. Fabulous view. Definitely worth it!
