Use the 'incline' (the oldest continuously operating funicular railway in the US) to get up to the viewing platform. Only $2.50 one way or $3.50 round trip. Great views over the river, Station Square and the North Shore.

Beautiful sights. Time for the City of Pittsburgh to fix the sidewalks. There was also dog feces. You would think this focal point would be a high priority for the city.

Echoing the chorus, the view is spectacular – especially at night. There are also a couple of cute restaurants and an ice cream shop that are perfect for a summer evening. The circle-shaped overlook on the side of the mountain is a little freaky if you’re not too keen on heights (which I’m not, but I had to try it... More

It's best if you take the incline up, do the whole tourist thing. On a clear day you can see very far. Great view of the point and the stadiums.

It was a great view of the city. This was the first tram up a mountain I have ever been in. It was an antique but got the job done. The view I will remember most about Pittsburg though is coming through the tunnel from the airport and the city just appears! Awesome. Cheers

Great place to take some wonderful wedding shots especially if it is a nice day out. We got some awesome shots of the city skyline and river. The city has done a great job cleaning up the area!

When we finally were able to get directions to get across the bridge and drive up to Mount Washington....we really enjoyed the view. Also, loved the beautiful tiger lillies planted near the top. Unfortunately, it wasn't as clear of a sunny day as we would have liked, but we thought this was the best attraction in Pittsburg.

We went up one incline and walked a mile to the other incline to go back down. The views are amazing!! Def something to do while in Pittsburgh!! Doesn't cost much unless you eat at one of the restaurants up there.

Great panoramic views of Pittsburgh downtown and many of the surrounding communities. Many great photo opportunities and it's coming to see wedding parties or prom pictures taking place. Parking can be tricky on weekend, so if you have time park at station square and ride the incline up mount washington to grand view ave. Check out Monterey Bay if you... More
