If you are only going to see one thing while in the Burgh, it should be this view from Mount Washington. You do not have to take the incline to get there--there are streets, but it is an unusual option! ENJOY!

My husband and I took the Mongahela Incline to the top of Mount Washington. What a great view of the city! We went up during the daytime, but I can only imagine the view at night. Worth the $5 roundtrip cost.

It wasn't as good as I expected but it was pretty nice and you will definitely like it. Very nice views of Pittsburgh. It was shame I didn't see that at night, it must be great.

It's the 'not to be missed' view of the city, and it is amazing. There's a neighborhood right nearby too with dining options. Didn't ride the furnicular but it's neat to see it anyway.

The scenic lookout is definitely a must visit while in Pittsburgh. It was so neat to see the three rivers meet. Great photo backdrop with the skyline and rivers in the background.

This is a cant missed one! On the top of the hill you can see for miles and of course the great town of Pittsburgh. Do not miss this one.

Go at night and see PIttsburgh all lit up! There are plenty of places to park, and small look out terraces you can enjoy the view from. Bring a sweater as it gets chilly up there at night even in the middle of summer.

This is an absolutely amazing view. It is very nice during the day but my advice is for you to go during the night as the view of the city is really amazing.

We made the mistake of trying to drive from downtown up to Mount Washington during rush hour and we had a little bit of adventure trying to find the viewing platforms, but once we found them it was worth it. The views of the city are great from up there and you can see all of downtown and the sports... More

If you want to see a breathtaking view of Pittsburgh, then going to the top of Mt. Washington is highly recommended. Ive been to a lot of places, but this by far is the most scenic view I have ever witnessed. You cant help but take a lot of pictures. The city skyline is gorgeous, the rivers connecting, the bridges...... More
