I bought my boyfriend and I season passes in 2013 for $100 I think. We only used them a handful of times, mostly because of the driving distance, but also because it is not that special. There isn't enough room around the wavepool for everyone to have a chair, the food is a bit expensive, and it just looks very... More

The place is.always too crowded and with nothing to.do. Boardwalk.burns your feet. Only thing worth it is the speed slide. Not up.to.date.with other parks. Outdated crappy

This place is okay, but it could be so much better. Like Kennywood (which is owned by the same company) they have no competition closer than a 3-hour drive, so they have no real incentive to make the place better. It is located right on the Monongahela River, but they make no use of the river whatsoever. The admission charge... More

So many water rides. Kids love the wave pool. I love the pool all the adults hang out at that has the bar. Drinks are good but very expensive. This is a great place to go on a hot day.

Not a very big water park. Got bored quickly! Lazy River was big and relaxing, Park was clean. Just needs more to do. More family activities, rather then an area for kids, slides for singles, and the pools. Would be nice to see some slides for familys and a Thunder Canyon type ride where whole family can enjoy it together.

Sandcastle is an okay water park with a number of slides and pools. The wavepool is decent but nothing special nor are any of their slides. The place isn't themed all too well either. And as far as thrill-seekers, there are only a few slides to get you going. It's a great place for families with young children.

Went on August 13. All except one entrance to the lazy river was closed. You had to walk to the opposite end of the park to get on and could only go less than halfway around. I was told it is because it is the end of the season and there isn't enough staff. Most of the food places were... More

The Lazy River is posted "Enter Lazy River here." No, can't. It took three different times before we could find the "correct" entrance, then the line was so long we decided to forego it. You are only aloud to go around once and then you must exit the lazy river. The access on the level with the "mushroom" pool and... More

The day we went to sandcastle it was almost 90 degrees. The "boardwalk" was at least twice that! They also made the stairs for the slides out of the same material and it was burning hot! They must know they have a problem because they have taken tiny steps to correct the problem. They have holes in hoses on the... More

Went with a large group of friends and my 6 yo. I wish it had been very clear that the rides require the child to be 48inches to ride the slides. He is 47 inches and an excellent swimmer but was really allowed to slide. We did the pools, the wave pool and some of the kids areas. The food... More
