Every time we travel to another city for a few days, we like to take the kids to a local children's museum. We've been to Port Discovery in Baltimore (daughters were too young at the time to really enjoy it) and Please Touch in Philly (very crowded with very rude people), but this one was perfect. Admission prices are reasonable,... More

We have a teenager that enjoys learning new things so we thought this would be cool. I think if she was younger she would have a had fun. It's not bad it's just for younger kids. Other than that it was clean, it had lots to do and look at. If you need to just follow your kid around as... More

My grandchildren love the museum. They Always want to go there when they spend time with Grandma! There are things for the older one to do and the 2nd floor is excellent for the baby. The water room is their all time favorite.

I used to take my children there and had many fond memories. So when I took my niece there, I had high expectations. It did not disappoint! We spent five hours and we could've gone back and spent another whole day. She was thrilled and so was I!

Visited in June of 2014. Our son is 8 and we were a little concerned he would be too old. No problem. There was a nice wood-working section that gave him a chance to do something new. There was also the now seemingly mandatory water section for dam building. The only mild negative was the food area. It was not... More

Stopped for a couple of hours of fun while on the Pennsylvania turnpike. Accessible to freeway, with easy parking. Incredibly well thought out exhibits that keep kids very entertained.

Stopped here on our last day of a short trip to Pittsburgh. We expected to stay about an hour and stayed for three hours. A six year old and a nine year old found many activities to do and interesting exhibits - science, art, dramatic play, water play, puppets, and many places to run around. Mr. Rogers Exhibits were scattered... More

This is more of an activity center for children than an actual museum, which makes it well worthwhile for families. Fans of Mr. Rogers (which tend to be people of all ages) will love seeing the puppets and set that resides within this building, which was the old Post Office for Pittsburgh. Highly recommended for families with young children, they... More

Without a doubt the best museum experience since we've had kids!! We live in DC and thought this was even more kid friendly than some of the Smithsonian museums. (We have little kids, 3 & 5 but there are great things here for older kids, too). The cost of admission seems a bit much at first but it's worth it... More

We took my 21 month old son there and he had a blast. So much for him to do even as young as he is. He love the climbing activity and [laying with water on the 3rd level.
