I brought my 3 1/2 year old and 2 year old here in June. It was such a fantastic experience for them. There were two rooms that were a bit old for them but we started in the art center which kept them busy for over an hour with the amount of things to do. Then we played with the... More

Best for kids 10 and under. Took my niece 8, nephew 6 and daughter 8 on a rainy day while in Pittsburgh. Spent about 3 hours here. They all gave this place a double thumbs up. We went in the afternoon and were pleased many were leaving for naps when we were arriving. Facilities well maintained. Parking easy and nearby.... More

We came with our 7 year old. He loved this place. Make sure to bring extra clothes for their top floor water play area. The cafe is beautiful, with healthy food choices! We stayed for 2.5 hours, would have stayed longer if not for our son getting tired. It was great - he played, mom and dad sat and chatted.

Very fun place to visit! My 22 month old daughter had so much fun trying all the different activities, particularly the train tables in the nursery.

We visited here on two days with 2 different pairs of grandchildren ages 8 to three, and all were entertained until we dragged them away after about 3 hours. The museum is so thoughtfully designed for little children, with, for example, a large child height hand washing station in the big dining room, instead of hidden away in a restroom.... More

We were on vacation the first time without our kids. Funny how we decided to go here. It was so much fun!! I wish the kids were with us!! There's so much just to get your hands into and watch the science about everything!! Truly enjoyed our visit and now want to go back with the kids!

We were there many years ago. It has a Mr. Roger's section! Loved it. One of the best museums for children.
