Just returned from a trip to the Children's Museum and have to say that after going to Chicago's Children's Museum this did not measure up. We spent 6 hours in Chicago and the kids' were done in 2 hours here. Although, the did enjoy themselves for the 2 hours; I cannot imagine spending more time there. more

We were so impressed with the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh. The facility is huge and there is such a wide variety of activities. We enjoyed the optical illusion hall and the art area. Our favorite was the water room - raincoats and galoshes are provided to keep the kids dry. Our whole family enjoyed this museum. more

Visited the musuem with three children (ages 3, 7, and 9). Each child had a great time and they would probably have rated this a little higher than me. One of the better children's museums I have visited. The admission price is very reasonable and there is much to see and do. There are several floors of exhibits and activities, so it means the kids will be entertained for hours. There is a section where they can do various artwork (painting, paper making etc.) and take their work home... more

This place was great! There was so much to do. It is literally the first place I've taken my 3 year olds where they were entertained an entire day 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. I had to beg them to leave one exhibit to go to the next. Every exhibit was a hit! more
