I miss the Igloo terribly but this is a fantastic venue for a hockey game. Wide roomy concourses and lower level has many interactive displays that are quite enjoyable for a Penguins fan. Unlimited food choices, charging stations for cell phones and tablets and reasonable number of restrooms. Seats are comfortable and we've had good views from several different sections.

I always hesitate bigger events in cities because I wonder how it's handled. I was pretty happy with a trip here. A friend landed us some tickets to the Royal Rumble, so we came to see the event. It was a tad snowy and cold that day, so we got there a bit early and I'm glad we did. Parking... More

It is a great venue. Seems like all seats give a good view of the stage. Sound was excellent! Only problem was keeping us standing outside so long, even when rain started.

The building is amazing. Went to see 2 Penguins Prospects Scrimmage games (1 in 2013 1 in 2014) and a Penguins vs. Flyers game. Great condition.

Concert goers not allowed into venue until almost 7:30 (concert scheduled for 8:00). Packed like sardines in front of the venue.

Though I am not a pens fan (sorry guys) I had a blast watching my canadiens play here! The stadium is clean and up to date and it is a fun environment.

While on a business trip I attended this facility to see Paul McCartney. He was GREAT !! The arena not so much. It is poorly designed and difficult to enter and exit since there is only one escalator. They were suppose to open the doors one horu before and did not open the doors until about 15 minutes before the... More

Great venue for concerts. Seating is all good, although top tier seating is getting far away. We had 100 level seating and felt connected to the stage.

Came from Cleveland,Ohio to See Paul McCartney in concert at Consol Energy Center. Have to say it was one of the best venues I have ever been to for a concert. The facility is well built and still has that new building feeling. The sound system in the arena is top quality. Another plus is the ample parking available near... More

Got my first visit at Consol Energy Center to see an outstanding performance by Paul McCartney. This place is known as the home of the Pittsburgh Penguins but they hold wonderful concerts there. Paul back in rare form delivered a 3 hour non-stopped concert to a packed house which literally tore the house down!! The Center itself is clean and... More
