Imagine our surprise when we discovered an authentic gambling Casino in Pennsylvania. The gaming was plentiful, the food was excellent, the drinks were NOT skimpy. The accommodations were attractive and the attendants were smiling and helpful. I would never miss the opportunity to return.

The Rivers Casino sits along the North Shore across from Heinz Field and PNC Park. It is filled with hundreds of slots. The restaurants are very nice and the food is tasty- I had a salad that wasn't very good however everything else was delicious. In the summer they offer entertainment on the outside-- There is something for everyone in... More

Spent the evening at the casino's Levels bar listening to Nick Fiasco doing covers of Dean Martin. Nick was great, the venue is small but nice. Smoking was allowed. We sat for almost two hours and a few drinks. If you avoid the gaming it can be a pretty nice and cheap evening! Check the website for specific entertainment.

You would have better luck winning if you bought a lottery or scratch off ticket! The slot machines are "tight" and the floor plan as to where you can and cannot smoke is crazy! Never saw the first cocktail waitress and at the bar they could care less about waiting on you either! It was pretty at first glance, but... More

This casino is the best we visited in Penn. It was easy to get into and out of the casino which is located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. The poker room is one of the finest and there was a large selection of slots and table games. I found the associates friendly and helpful and the environment clean even... More

Easy to get in and out of free parking garage right in downtown. Lot's of slots choices and table games. Reasonable prices for drinks. Only complaint would be most of area is smoking and there is a non-smoking area but had to get far away from smoking area not to smell the smoke. Had a lot of fun and something... More

Out of all of the casino's I have visited, Rivers Casino is one of my favorites. While there is smoking allowed at the tables, the atmosphere is not smokey. They don't offer comp drinks, but there is pay to play drink service available while you are playing. They also have low ante tables. The 3 times that I was there,... More

At the drum bar, you may want to get a beer. A single vodka drink would be laughed at by most and I would challenge it to even be a single ounce. Maybe they should get into the mini bottles as now I understand why folks in those states at least can say they are treated fairly.

Typical Pennsylvania casino. They charge for drinks no matter where you're playing. Friendly staff, and the casino layout is adequate, but it just once again goes to show you......there's no place like Vegas! This casino wouldn't survive if it had competition. Last call 1:30. Worth a short visit if you're close, not much else to do in that area if... More
