This is a great museum for the Pittsburgh region. For a nominal fee for admission and parking, you can check out all of the history surrounding the Pittsburgh area. If you into sports, check it out as well. This is a place that must be on everyone's list once a year when living or visiting the Pittsburgh region. More

We spent three hours here and only saw half of the exhibits. This museum is very interesting, and the exhibits are well done. You can see the Smithsonian's touch here. More

Being a museum nut, and living in Arizona, I take any chance I can to visit one in whatever city I’m visiting. The Heinz is 5 floors of well planned out & artistic design. There is a Sports museum inside the museum that I dare any city to match. It pays tribute to all local teams & local boys or... More

A fantastic trip down memory lane having grown up in the Burgh and just incredibly well done. The Sports museum is always a favorite and you can learn so much about the history of the area here. I take fifth graders on a field trip here every year! More

I spent several relaxing hours at the Heinz History Center and found every minute enjoyable. In particular I was impressed by the coverage of so many aspects of Pittsburgh's history - especially its cultural, social, and industrial history and it's roll in the development of the West. More

If you would like to know about Pittsburgh's history, this is the place to go. It's close enough to the Strip District, that could you walk there for lunch or dinner after your tour. More

What a surprise! Floor after floor of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania and US history - sports and coal and the American Revolution. Far exceeded my expectations and took much longer to see everything! Great place! More
