Being at Phipps is a time of beauty and peace. There is such a sense of forgetting the world beyond. While the seasonal shows are spectacular, the everyday plantings and the building are always wonderful. Pittsburgh now enjoys the fruits/thefts of the robber barons.

I love Phipps. We don't go that often, but everytime I am happy to be there. It is a wonderful place to take guests. Not only is it beautiful and interesting, but it's a perfect place to walk and talk without a lot of pressure to hurry through.

Our family loved visiting! The building has been beautifully maintained and is overflowing with flowers and plants. There was so much to see! We liked the areas throughout that were kid focused; trains, play areas, etc. There were also many pieces of interested sculpture included. Limited free parking is available on the island in front of the conservatory. The visit... More

I come often to enjoy the peaceful gardens. Its a photographer's dream at any level. The seasons change for the gardens are always a joy. The orchid room is my favorite. Just a joy.

I am a member of Phipps. In the summer, I love their outdoor garden. When it gets cold out, Phipps is my happy place. I usually take my camera, but sometimes I just sit and admire all the beautiful plants and flowers. The display changes each season, so it never gets boring. My two favorites are: The Japanese Courtyard garden,... More

The place is teaming with volunteers and workers who are constantly make the different exhibits fabulous for young and old. The place smells wonderful and you feel cleansed after breathing in the fresh air for a couple of hours and... More

This place was honestly breath taking. We took my little nephew and he didn't get all fussy because they had this train layout throughout the whole garden which helped keep the little one distracted and me able to take pictures of this beautiful place

This place is absolutely incredible! Heaven on Earth for sure. You almost forget your in the city. It is so peaceful and well done. A little pricey to get in but its worth it. My fiance took me here on a date and it is one we will never forget
