Beautiful comfortable and amazing place to visit all year round but extra bonus during harsh winters to surround yourself with warm and pleasant plants and flowers.

What a beautiful place to get lost in ... The cam went to Phipps for Easter Sunday stroll and we were amazed at the beauty and the amount of beautiful flowers and plants. It was worth it to have stopped there, had an amazing fresh and simple lunch as we'll in their caf!! Had we known about the brunch in... More

Phipps is a peaceful and beautiful place with so many rooms of varying flowers, trees, ferns, cacti, water features, inside and outside. It makes you feel relaxed and refreshed. And it is easy to get to and fairly easy to find parking. It does seasonal shows which feature the best of each season. I've gone a dozen times in the... More

I decided to take my girlfriend to see the floral displays at Phipps this past Easter Sunday and we had a wonderful time. We were able to walk the gardens, hold hands, and had some great photo opportunities. The weather was great and the atmosphere was very romantic and beautiful. The exhibits and gardens had several different themes and it... More

I was a guest at a wedding at the conservatory, the setting is beautiful for a ceremony and the set up for drinks and food also worked well. It should be noted that this was a small wedding of only 25+ any more would be a struggle.

The Phipps is a dear old friend who only improves with age. The exhibits are always fresh and imaginative. I have been going here for decades and it was a great place to bring my children. Now I go with friends and perhaps I will bring grandchildren here someday. I give Phipps special kudos for revamping their food selection to... More

Phipps Conservatory reconfigures all it rooms, seams like 20 to 30 different rooms for each season change, plus the outside area's for spring to fall. Phipps puts on 5 different shows each year. All are a must to see, Winter (Christmas Show), Spring (Flowers), Summer (Flowers), and Fall (Flowers) and a 5th Orchards Show. All are so worth paying the... More

Phipps Conservatory is a beautiful facility that looks like an old-fashioned Victorian greenhouse. Each room is very unique, and authentic Chihuly glass is tucked away in many of the displays. The amazing gardens are located in one of Pittsburgh's largest green spaces . . Schenley Park. We rode bikes and enjoyed the wonderful surroundings of the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.... More

A very unique display of flowers and plants from around the world. Spring is a great time to visit. Take the time to visit the different plants, trees, and flowers in all the beautiful settings. Phipps Conservatory is definitely worth the visit if you are in Pittsburgh.

On a girls' getaway to Pittsburgh, my friend and I decided to walk around Oakland on a perfect spring Saturday. We found ourselves close to the Phipps Conservatory while walking through the campus of Carnegie Mellon University, and we were encouraged to visit Phipps; I'm so glad we did. The conservatory is conveniently located near several college campuses, well within... More
