My family and I (4 adults, ages 28-62; vegan, vegetarian and other dietary requirements) just returned from a week long cycling trip along the Great Allegheny Passage and truly experienced the trip of a lifetime! Thanks to Sara Petyk and company at Your Active City, we enjoyed a perfectly orchestrated, interesting itinerary with luxurious accommodations and gourmet dining included! Sara... More

Sara at Your Active City organized and coordinated a fantastic trip on the Great Allegheny Passage for my wife and me. Sara took care of plotting a detailed trip itinerary, all logistical details and reservations, gave great recommendations, and even served as a tour guide for the first part of our trip. We enjoyed a wonderful four day bike trip... More

Solo biker from Pitts to DC, 8 days, Sara set it all up (hotels, lots of dinners & breakfasts, restaurant, even 1 way rental bike), twas great! Hotels/B&Bs great with local flavor, restaurants great, great meals! At every stop, would mention Sara's name, and receive great treatment! Would do it again, and recommend Sara highly!

Having Sara Petyk help in planning our first Gap trip was invaluable. Her advice, recommendations and personal tour of the Pittsburg area were superb . We rode from Pittsburg to Cumberland with grandsons and a couple of 'green' riders. This meant a lot of coordination as we had to meet up between bikes and the car. Her recommendations for lodging,... More

Sara helped me plan our 3 day ride for our family of 5. We rode 3 sections of the GAP trail from Cumberland to Pittsburgh: Meyersdale to Cumberland (32 miles), Confluence to Ohiopyle (11 miles, followed by a nice 2 hour trail walk and visit to the falls), and Sudersville to Homestead (24 miles). Our kids are 6, 10 and... More

We just got back from the best vacation-- rode the Gap Trail from Frostburg to Pittsburg! Sara Petyk of Your Active City set up all the B&B's for lodging along the way, the transportation of us and our bikes back to Frostburg, and recommended places to eat, things to do etc...then, when we arrived, she gave us an amazing bike... We really enjoyed Sara's tour - and we were walking around in the 90-degree heat. She showed us a mix of the very old & very new, the historically significant and the whimsical. My husband & teens had never been to "the 'Burgh" before, so it was all news to them -- but I discovered plenty, too, and I graduated... More

I had only one day to spend in Pittsburgh, I decided to go for the bike tour. Sara (the tour guide) did a great job. She is kind, patient and knows a lot about the history of the city. I loved the experience and I will certainly do it again. Don't miss this tour if you are in Pittsburgh. It... More

Sara does a great job introducing you to Pittsburgh's hidden gems "in plain sight." Informative, interesting, easy to walk and fun for all ages! I've been to the center of the city many times, but didn't know most of the landmarks she showed us. Don't miss it!

My husband and I took the Active City Best of the Burgh tour on a Saturday afternoon. We had a great time and the tour was very informative. Even though we're both from the Pittsburgh area, we learned so much about the city and saw interesting sites in the city that we had never seen before. I would definitely recommend... More
