My girlfriend and I went on the Lawrenceville Food Tour lead by Melissa. Melissa was a great guide, charming and enthusiastic and full of interesting historical facts. This was my third food tour in Pittsburgh and I love them. Its a great way to be introduced into little pieces of history and support local business owners. Although we loved the... More

Thank you for your comments, and for exploring Pittsburgh's neighborhoods through the food tours. This particular tour starts off on a sweet note. You're absolutely right, logistically we need to begin the tour with the cupcake. The cupcake shop closes at 3:00pm, therefor we would be unable to visit later in the tour....and we don't want you to miss this... More

Our tour guide Richard was excellent. He provided history and humour throughout the tour, even on a drab day. The food was excellent and left you stuffed. We did the Strip District tour and would recommend to anyone as well as try another of their tours next time we are in Pittsburgh.

Thank you Eddie for your review. Your comments made us laugh. Richard is now officially known as "the strip district guru and seer of all things." Thanks again, we're glad you enjoyed the tour. More

My husband and I did the bits and bites tour of the strip district. This area of town has such an interesting history and our guide was very knowledgable. We stopped in at least 6 different shops and got to sample a variety of foods. Everything was delicious! This was one of my favorite activities in Pittsburgh.

This was a walking tour, although ii don't think we walked more than 6-8 blocks in total, but that was OK. Our guide, Gabe, was great, and we had the pleasure of having some knowledgable locals on the tour as well. Be warned, if you have dinner reservations, make sure they are late, as you will eat, and a lot,... More

We took two of this companies tours, the Brookline and Strip District and both were excellent. Sylvia and Richard were well informed and gave historical insights as well as a very delicious sampling of local cuisines. These are fun and interesting ways of experiencing snapshots of history and culture as well as the culinary aspects and we would recommend them... More

Great way to get a personal feel for the city and it's people. This old neighborhood is a gem and the food was prepared with such pride, delicious. I would definately plan another neighborhood tour on my next visit!

I took out of town guests on the Lawrenceville Food Tour lead by Melissa. There were 2 adults and 4 kids, ages 10 through 16. Melissa did a great job of making the Lawrenceville history part of the tour interesting. The venues they picked for the food tastings were perfect...at most of the stops the owners spoke to our group... More

I purchased the Brookline tour as a gift for my husband's birthday. Sylvia, our guide, was knowledgable and down to earth. The tour was an excellent way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The shops were interesting, the food was delicious, and the stories were entertaining. This is perfect for both locals and out of town visitors.

New to Pittsburgh and went on tour with some other transplants. Sylvia gave history of each stop as well as the Strip! We have told our friends and relatives that we will do this tour when they visit!
