This tour is second only to the tour of the Strip, and I've done them all. RIchard is the best guide! Two thumbs up!

We really enjoyed our food tour in the Strip District. We went to 6 different places and enjoyed food samples and talks from the owners/managers of the stores. I really enjoyed seeing all of the different ethnic food vendors in the Strip District. Everyone said we should go down on a Saturday morning to see all the vendors who come... More

What a great way to spend an afternoon. Our tour of Lawrenceville was fun, informative, and absolutely delicious. Our guide was friendly, personable and knowledgeable, and the owners of all of the restaurants were happy to accommodate us. We will definitely be back for more tours.

My husband and I weren't sure what to expect- we had never even heard of Brookline before and we live in Pittsburgh. What a wonderful surprise! Our tour guide was fantastic. She lives in Brookline and it was obvious how much she loves her neighborhood- she knew each one of the shop owners personally- it was so sweet. PitaLand was... More

It was our first time in Pittsburgh and we wanted a fun tour to learn about the neighborhood and eat good food. The tour was amazing! Our tour guide was really personable, knowledgeable, and funny. We would have probably never gone to Lawrenceville without this tour. We loved Lawrenceville and would go back again. At the end of the tour... More

A 2-hour walking tour of the Bloomfield/Little Italy neighborhood. The walking only covered a few blocks but included five restaurants, delis, bakeries and a pizzaria. The tastings included pasta and meatballs in marinara, New York pizza, French-style cupcakes, biscotti and a cheeseburger with home-fries. Our guide, Richard, was friendly and knowledgeable and acted more as a host than a guide.... More

This was a great introduction to the city and a great way to start our weekend getaway. We had an amazing time and our guide Gabe was fabulous.

We were visiting Pittsburgh for only 4 days and wouldn't be there on Friday, the regular day that the Strip District food tour is offered. So I was really glad that they were able to offer us a tour on a Monday. One of the stops had to be cancelled due to a movie being filmed on the street, but... More

We had a really great time at the Bits and Bites food tour in Lawrenceville. Our tour guide, Melissa, was excellent. The owners came out to talk to us and were very friendly and the food was delicious. We'd definitely do another Bits and Bites food tour!

We spent an enjoyable couple of hours on the Little Italy tour with Gabe. It was very pleasant and the five shops - all within a couple of blocks of each other - served some very good food. You also get to meet some very nice people. For us the main disappointment was that there wasn't more to the tour.... More
