the bloomfield walking tour helps to uncover some neighborhood gems! on our afternoon strolling the business area-- we were taken back and reminded of our town years ago! people were on the corner just chatting and many of the patrons in the shops seemed like regulars. the owners in each of the stops were very friendly and informative. our tour... We're first timers in Pittsburgh from Brooklyn NY with a love for good food and an interest in old industrial areas. I expected the tour to have great treats but didn't expect to get so much interesting history of the area! We visited a couple beautiful churches and heard stories about the history of the buildings and the neighborhood over... More

This food tour is AMAZING! It was such a great way to get to know Pittsburgh. Sylvia and her staff are phenomenal and have a really unique set of knowledge on Pittsburgh history. Not only do you get to try some of the best food in the city, but you also learn about the city's founding and the different cultural... More

Coming from Cleveland, a visit to our arch-rival Pittsburgh "just for fun" borders on sacrilege, but this week, adventure trumped rhetoric, and we made the 115 mile trek from the North Coast to the Steel Valley. We packed a lot into our two day trip, exploring neighborhoods on both the North and South sides of the city; riding the Monongohela... More

I was in Pittsburgh recently with family to visit even more family and we decided to see what this tour was all about. I must say it is definitely worth the money and the owner Silvia is a true delight to be around. Silvia along with the other tour guides are very knowledgable about the history of the area and... Wonderful tour. Our group had a ball. Thanks. Walked down the strip and Sylvia showed us all the unique things about the strip. I would recommend walking shoes. It is a short visit but we made a day of it and enjoyed it all. Nothing negative about this. Go hungry, because you get a nice variety to eat. Loved the... More

I am a lifetime Pittsburgher who was always a little intimidated by the strip because of how crowded it always seemed and how many choices there were-that I didn't know where to go. I took the burgh bits and bites tour of the strip, and learned so much! The tour guide was knowledgeable of all the businesses and although we... More

The Burgh Bits and Bites tour was wonderful. Our Tour Guide Sylvia was very informative and knew the history and interesting facts. The places she took us to along the strip had a lot of great small shops and restaurants. I found this tour to be well worth the cost. We learned a lot about the history of the city... More

I went on this tour in Lawrenceville for my birthday with Sherris. I found the tour to be very informative. I work in Strip Disrict but had never been in some of the restaurants and shops that we visited. Sherris was very knowledgeable about each place we visited. She even pointed out a horse head on one of the buildings... More
