This was a great food tour. We have taken food tours in several cities and the Burgh Bits & Bites ranks as one of our favorites. It was a good combination of local history, an interesting neighborhood (Strip District), and tasty food. I would definitely recommend it.

The beginning of the tour with the history of Old St. Patrick church is amazing. This gem in the city is well hidden. The history is amazing. The tour guides broke us up into small groups as you will go visit many working shops. You will learn about the history of the Strip area, the history of the shops and... More

The tour was really fun! Richard was very knowledgeable and shared information not only on the food, but also on the architecture, the history, and the neighborhood. I am not a big fan of cooked tomatoes so therefore Southern Italian food is not my favorite, but I got enough to eat and have a much better appreciation for Bloomfield and... More

This was a great tour! Great food, local history, and lots of fun. Our kids enjoyed the tour as well (no whining at all). Corin was our guide, she did a wonderful job. She was as very knowledgeable, friendly, and kept the tour on pace without making us feel rushed. Definitely would recommend this tour.

We took a tour in the Strip. After living in Pittsburgh our whole lives and visiting the strip many times we learned so much about the city and visited places we'd never think of going in. The food was great and the tour was so much fun. Great for a day date or for out of town guests.

Our guide Melissa was able to strategically get us to each of our food stops just in time to avoid the storms. It was a fun day with good friends and good food, we left feeling full.

Jen, our guide, was fabulous as we enjoyed visiting the different culinary delights of The Strip! I had also visited the Bloomfield Little Italy tour several years ago and found it delightful as well!

Our tour guide was Gabe and he was great. Super friendly and very knowledgeable about the early days of Pittsburgh and in particular the Strip District. We were a small group of 7 from various states and me the one Canadian. The food part starts early as soon as you meet in the courtyard of St. Patrick's Church with a... More
