This was a great trip to spend our anniversary with our teenage son. He had never rafted before, but we decided to raft the Lower Yough with him. (We were both experienced rafters.)

We did the Middle Yough on a Living Social deal, and it was a great family activity. The guides were excellent, even though they told us the tour that day was the largest of the summer. I am surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. I kayaked (they give you an inflatable kayak, also knows as a "duckie") on a Sunday the Lower Yough with the guides from this company, and the total number of rafters and kayakers (mostly rafters) was above 60.

We are a family of wimps, so this was the perfect way for us to dip our toes in white water rapids. The Middle Yough trips is a ride down a Class 1 rapids - meaning it's mostly smooth sailing except for about 8 small rapids. There were two guides on the trip, only one of whom was visible and...
