The foliage is beautiful in October as the waterfalls fall down the river. It is captivating. Make sure to take time to visit the unbeaten paths apart from the riverbed.

We spent just a couple of hours but hiked to the falls and to some rapids and saw kayak as we'll. you can do as much or as little and have a fun time here. While we did not, there are some eateries here and the weather was beautiful to sit outside.

We are from out of state and cruising the area around Uniontown. Ohiopyle was a great and scenic place to stop, get out, stretch. Lots of scenic water, trails, falls, quite pleasant. You could spend an entire day or more or just relax for a couple of hours like we did. Well worth it.

I am hoping to get back there in the spring and stay over night so I can spend more than a day there. There is so much to see. Trails to walk. A bridge over the river. Many waterfalls. Some you can see without walking much. If you have limited walking you can just go to the overlook at the... More

Great hiking trails, spectacular views, ideal for families. Observed many folks on bicycles. Easily accessible by foot too. Wonderful way to spend the day.

Our first visit to the ohioplye was great. We visited the falls, there are two of them and the natural rock water slide. The kids had a blast and kept cool sliding down the natural water slide. Walking on the trail was relaxing as well.

This was a brief stop as we had planned to spend most of our time here but a fall breaking my ankle the week before the trip limited our activities. I hope to return to ride in the future. The falls were really cool and had great potential.

A gorgeous campground that was so big, probably only saw a third. Many stops within the park to see. Waterfalls, natural waterslide, hilltop views, etc. so big and spread out, you'll never feel cramped. The Kentuck campground was very nice. Sites were large enough for privacy and ability to spread out. Very peaceful except for the train in the distance.... More

Sometimes you run across things that you didn't know exist & there's almost no one else there & it's absolutely beautiful & the lighting is great for photos. This was one of those things. Be sure to stop by if you stumble across it.
