Beautiful- one word to describe the state park. The campground sits atop the mountain. A bike trail from the campground connects to the Great Allegheny Passage, which leads to the small town of Ohiopyle. This trail is not for novice riders. It is a rock and dirt trail down the side of the mountain. My husband and my teenage son... More

There is plenty to do around ohiopyle and we found the town to be quaint. Bike trails were awesome. Natural beauty of the area cannot be overstated. Kentuck campground was good. The campground was clean and the staff was awesome. Checking was a breeze. The only complaint was the noise level. Camp sites were on top of each other and... More

Just go to see the rivers or take a hike. Don't miss cucumber falls it is beautiful and can be viewed just off the roadside. The hike to the bottom is a bit of a challenge for an physically challenge person but there are steps and it is worth the effort.

We spend 4th of July weekend at the Kentuck campground and enjoyed it immensely. Our camp area was private even with the camp being full to capacity. The shower houses were clean and well-maintained. Ours even had a "kitchen sink" area for washing dishes, quite handy. The tent camping fee of $20 was very reasonable for all the amenities. We... More

Nice secluded camping, good showers. Terrific biking and hiking trails with scenic spots to stop and take in a view or a dip. Meadow run natural slides are unique experience. Rafting, kayaking options are good as well.

Ohiopyle is a great place for anyone who loves the outdoors. There are many little shops, a farmers market, ice cream store, bar, and there are many places to eat. You can bring your bike or rent a bike (must be done in advance) and ride through the trails that go on for miles. There is camping and many beautiful... More

We went for a day trip for the family. We wanted see the area before committing to a more extensive day (rafting) and hiking fit the plan. It is beautiful, the scenery and river are spectacular. We hiked all day. There different trails with varying levels of difficulties and the family enjoyed the 3 trails we chose. As for hiking,... More
