Very beautiful scenery, many trails to walk or ride a bike. Can actually walk down to falls, river area and picnic. Be careful though many have slipped and drown walking to close to the rocks. Numerous lookout points within half mile for great photography. The park is updating the parking area also which should be completed soon. There is cucumber... More

We saw the rapids and waterfalls of the Ohiopyle River on our way to visit Frank Llyod Wright's famous house, Falling Water. Both attractions well worth the visit. We stayed at Glades Pike Inn. The whole trip was wonderful. Also took in some covered bridges to the south.

Ohiopyle is by far one of the best parks iI have visited, there is a lot of things to do and enjoy:-) The campground is awesome, the cabins and yurts are cool to stay in. The pet sites are more shadier than some, and the best ones are in the bend, 195-198! We have camped there multiple times and even... More

My sister and I stayed here in this tiny town since we were going white water rafting there and the place is magnificent! We took the bridge over and did some walking on the trails. The paths are great, some follow the rivers, it's shaded and cool, wore bug spray but didn't seem many bugs surprisingly. All in all, it's... More

Even though I live 2 hours away - I've been to Ohiopyle more than I've been to parks down the street from me! - It's my favorite place to hike in Western PA, and It feels like home to me - I've stayed overnight on many occasions but I usually go for the day -- Its my favorite place to... More

Such a gorgeous park with so much to do in the summertime. Great selection of activities, cute little restaurants, etc. Love the waterfall but beware because the Yough can be dangerous sometimes. A great place to camp, bike, raft, or swim.

This park is one of those rare, undiscovered hidden gems. The photos express the isolated beauty of this place much better than words. If you enjoy camping in the Smoky Mountains or other Appalachian destinations, this place is for you. It has everything the best, most popular parks have minus the stifling crowds and commercialism. Although it is located only... More

We were there in mid October and only spent a couple hours there, but it looks like a great park. The trail system looks promising. Enjoyed the main area at the ohoipyle falls.

Ohiopyle is beautiful all year long. We went this weekend to enjoy the cool temps and the autumn colors.

My husband and I were on our way back from Kentuck Knob and stumbled on the town of Ohiopyle and the Ohiopyle Falls. Quickly parked the car without difficulty in late afternoon and crossed the street to see the falls. Unfortunately there was construction blocking our way, but on the plus side, the renovations look like they will be beautiful.... More
