Our favorite place!

Beautiful little town with a wonderful walking/biking trail, a new visitor center, places to eat and of course, the falls.

Great place to spend a day, weekend or week. Whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, floating in the river. Kid friendly, pet friendly, many restaurants, and cottage rentals. 2 Frank Lloyd Wright homes close by to explore and play a round of golf or 2 at nearby Nemacolin Resort.

Stopped this past weekend while passing through the area on a school trip and it was awesome. We has a chance to walk around the river area and falls and get some lunch at a local pizza shop. Wish we had more time to explore but it was well worth the stop.

Ohiopyle is great year round! From snowshoeing and sledding at Sugarloaf to biking along the GAP to hiking Ferncliff. And of course there is rafting. Something can be found for everyone.

I have taken many trips to Ohiopyle. I've gone camping, backpacking, white water rafting, hiking, natural water slides. It is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts, especially in the summer and fall. There are lots of attractions nearby like Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, as well as Seven Springs ski area.

This area is plenty of fun for people of all ages. Biking (trail and single track), canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, sightseeing, swimming, hiking, fishing, shopping, dining and much more. We are blessed to have the park in our area.

The foliage is beautiful in October as the waterfalls fall down the river. It is captivating. Make sure to take time to visit the unbeaten paths apart from the riverbed.

We spent just a couple of hours but hiked to the falls and to some rapids and saw kayak as we'll. you can do as much or as little and have a fun time here. While we did not, there are some eateries here and the weather was beautiful to sit outside.
