This classic Bucks County cut-stone House was home to many generations of the Parry Family, in New Hope Borough. just across from the BC Playouse, they have no onsite parking. Lucky for us we kept our car at Wedgwood Inn of New Hope after Check-Out and just walked over to the Parry Mansion. Knowledgeable docents.

I went to this free museum and have to say it was one of the best tours I've ever been on. The tour leader knew all about every piece of furniture, artifact in every room and could answer any questions you had. The rooms were divided by time period and all the things in the room were either owned by... More

Tours are docent led. When we visited (July) they appeared to run every half hour. We checked the "next tour" time on the front door, went back into town to look around, and arrived back about five minutes early. There is no fee, but you can leave a donation. They don't pressure you to do so but I'd say most... More

Can't say enough good things about the Parry Mansion. The docent was so accommodating and clearly knew every nook and cranny of this home. All of the eras represented were without a doubt thoroughly researched and information delivered well. We arrived on a Saturday morning when they were closed but getting ready for a huge garden tour. When I explained... More

Went with my husband and three boys ages 11, 13 and 15. We all loved it. Very informative. The kids thought it was cool seeing how a home was decorated and built in the 1800's. I would highly recommend this free tour. They do accept donations but do NOT guilt you into leaving one. I did anyway because it was... More

My fiance and I stumbled upon Parry Mansion while wandering around New Hope and decided to go in for their free tour. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of information and interesting things to see within the house. Each room is decorated to represent a different era where the Parrys lived in the house. I was really impressed at... More
