A bookstore the way all bookstores used to be like. Crooked shelves. Knowledgeable staff. 120,000 titles. Independent. Like all of New Hope, fiercely independent. They can find any book, even those out-of-print. Just down the street from our Wedgwood BB Inn, it was an easy stroll; they have v ery limited on-site parking!

We live nearby and have been going to Farley's for what seems like forever. I don't think the place has changed a bit since the day it opened, with an incredible selection of books of every size, shape and category. If you're in New Hope, and especially if you appreciate books, do not miss this place.

I still love an old book store. This place has books piled everywhere. Call me old fashioned but I still like to have a book in my hand and not electronics.

This book store offers both adults and children a multitude of subjects to explore and to expand their minds, and of course it's just plain fun to wonder around inside.

If you like to browse the aisles for actual books (you don't own a Kindle!), then this is the place for you when visiting the area. Have been poking around here for years. Great card selection too.

This store is great. The people who work there are very knowledgeable about the books and a variety of subjects. My problem is I usually cannot leave without making major purchases. Their e-mails are very informative.

Helpful and knowledgable gentleman behind the counter, love their whimsical greeting card collection. Thanks for his great bakery recommendation. I can linger in bookstores like this.

Farley's is one of those legendary book shops that you can get lost in. Every time you think you've seen it all, another corner emerges with more great stuff. There's a special section of local authors, which should not be overlooked. Farley's is for the archaeologist in us all.

This is a great place in New Hope if you want to peruse and stroll the isles of a wonderful books store. Best Sellers are as expected close to the door and register. The classics are on sale here as are some not so well known editions.

We've always loved going to Farley's bookstore. It's a tiny, locally owned bookstore and they'll go out of their way to help you. They've been there like forever. Mr Farley recently died and I understand his daughter is taking over the bookstore. I wish them the best. It's a landmark.
