What to do with the Grandchildren is easy. The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad make it so. We walked around town a bit had a good lunch and surprise, surprise, you should have seen the wide open eyes of the three and five year old children. The staff showed a lot of attention to all and were eager to answer... More

We take the whole family every year along with Grandparents, Aunts Uncle and Cousins! It has become a great family tradition. Just taking a train ride is a treat, but add seeing Santa Claus on the train, combined with hot cocoa, cookies and plenty of Christmas Caroling ... and that is a is super fun for everyone. Beautiful area and... More

I had a groupon for my 5 yr old and me. Would never pay full price for this ride. The website made no mention of the $15 parking and I didn't allow enough time to fight the traffic to find street parking. My 5 yr old discovered the movie Polar Express this year and this train ride really hit home... More

We booked first class tickets to meet Santa & Mrs. Klaus. Being it was only 45 minutes we didn't know how they would pull over some Christmas Magic in a short period of time but they sure did. Santa and Mrs Claus came bursting through the doors and his costume and face magical! My husband and I even looked surprised!... More

we rode the north pole express train..it was fun ,singing Christmas carols hot chocolate, cookies, and gifts from santa for the children...the only suggestion I could give would be to dress warm as these cars are only heated with a kerosene heaterand the fumes get quite strong when the train isn't moving

I was so excited to share the Santa Express with my niece. Thank God she is barely 5 and still sees the wonder in things because I was extremely bored and disappointed. The train is heated by kerosene heaters and the one in our car was smoking. The smell was so bad that, 5 hours later, I am still trying... More

Bought a groupon for polar express, website listed they had it through the new year; I called numerous times to confirm our tickets no one ever answered. Upon our arrival we found out it was an hourly excursion instead they wouldn't accept our voucher at all. Everyone was super rude throughout the ride. Parking is $15 I suggest parking in... More

Took my 6 year old niece yesterday assuming from the website where I clicked on "North Pole Express" and bought two tickets would be for the ride with Santa. It was not. No Santa, no carols, no cocoa and cookies. Just a 45 minute train ride where you could purchase snacks and got free soda. It was pleasant but the... More

The North Pole Express was a nice ride, children loved it. It was too short though, not worth paying full price. I'm glad we had groupons!

SAVE YOUR MONEY ! I never write reviews but one is war rented in this case. Party of 7 - 3 children, with everyone all excited to see the steam engine and Santa. Sadly one out of two was not good enough. We did meet Santa and his wife and the kids got a candy cane and a small bell... More
