Wonderfully preserved train

Had a great time with my two kids. The railroad has done a great job restoring and caring for the engines and cars. They give an authentic experience.

We went there with 2 other couples on Fall foliage trip and Halloween special train. Bought the vouchers through a Groupon deal and still felt that we wasted our time (2 1/2 hour ride) and money. especially the fall foliage trip was horrible. No real views of fall foliage, an old diesel train just travels at a very slow pace... More

We have taken the hourly excursion ride now a couple of times. This mainly because our little one just loves it. So far we have always bought first class tickets and certainly credit to the staff for a very clean train with excellent personal service. They serve soft drinks and alcoholic beverages on the train, or at least in first... More

I've been to New Hope quite a few times but this was my first ride on the railroad. It's a little pricey but nice. I sat in the first class car and it was comfortable. They have a cash bar which was nice. They give you the history of the railroad and of the surrounding area along the ride. It... More

The tour was very informative and beautiful scenery along the trip. The trip was short so didn't take entire day. Good history of the area.

My husband and I reserved 2 First Class Seats for the 2 1/2 hour Fall Foliage Train Ride out of the New Hope stop. As we boarded the train, we were instructed to pick whichever seats we wanted. We sat at a 4 seated table (but the table just had the two of us). The seats were comfortable wooden chairs... More

Overlook the bedraggled coaches and expensive fares, and focus on the beautiful central Bucks scenery and trip through countryside you can't see any other way.

A beautiful scenic trip. The cars are all the real deal, and the train station is like stepping back in time. The narrative is very interesting, and informative. Everyone works hard to help give you a pleasant experience. However, the snack area operating times are sketchy, the parking cost (and you are taking THEIR train!) is OUTRAGEOUS, and one Halloween... We had a great time on this historic train while traveling through New Hope! My 5 and 9 year old grand niece's loved the ride, saw pretty woodside views, saw three deer, and lots of butterflies! We enjoyed it! An older conductor stopped for photos with us before the train even started to board. He was very kind to us,... More
