A great piece of history. Wonderful antique railroad that provides service to surrounding area. Worth a ride. They offer dining on board for a unique classic experience.

We enjoyed the lovely train ride with our son and daughter -in - law last spring. They live in California so they really enjoyed the dogwoods and spring flowers. A beautiful spring trip. I am sure this is also nice in the summer and fall but perhaps spring is best - especially after the long and cold winter we have... More

This is a really nice ride to take you from New Hope to peddlers village in Lahaska. They have theme parties on the train certain times of the year and I believe you can have a private booking for parties. they tell you some of the local history. the only thing I would like to add is maybe they should... We were pretty excited to take this ride, because the website says it's narrated and scenic. It was dull, not what I would consider scenic, and there was probably 60 seconds of narration--the only thing the conductor pointed out was an abandoned building foundation. Thank goodness we had the Groupon and didn't pay full price, that would've made us even... More

Haunted Train ride STUNK! 45 min is all it was for big time money. The performers were good , but seriously this was the biggest waste of my money ever. I would never spend this kind of money again. Not even scary. Intended for 13 years old plus??? Don't waste your money.

What to do with the Grandchildren is easy. The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad make it so. We walked around town a bit had a good lunch and surprise, surprise, you should have seen the wide open eyes of the three and five year old children. The staff showed a lot of attention to all and were eager to answer... More

We take the whole family every year along with Grandparents, Aunts Uncle and Cousins! It has become a great family tradition. Just taking a train ride is a treat, but add seeing Santa Claus on the train, combined with hot cocoa, cookies and plenty of Christmas Caroling ... and that is a is super fun for everyone. Beautiful area and... More

I had a groupon for my 5 yr old and me. Would never pay full price for this ride. The website made no mention of the $15 parking and I didn't allow enough time to fight the traffic to find street parking. My 5 yr old discovered the movie Polar Express this year and this train ride really hit home... More

We booked first class tickets to meet Santa & Mrs. Klaus. Being it was only 45 minutes we didn't know how they would pull over some Christmas Magic in a short period of time but they sure did. Santa and Mrs Claus came bursting through the doors and his costume and face magical! My husband and I even looked surprised!... More

we rode the north pole express train..it was fun ,singing Christmas carols hot chocolate, cookies, and gifts from santa for the children...the only suggestion I could give would be to dress warm as these cars are only heated with a kerosene heaterand the fumes get quite strong when the train isn't moving
