Gave this train ride to my husband as one of his Father's Day gifts. Upgraded and he road upfront with the engineer. Nice ride. Trip takes about an hour. Very scenic ride. Exceptional staff. All the employees were very professional and very helpful.

Not a long distance but worth the experience! I would plan going when there is an event and there are plenty on this railroad. Many geared towards children but I must admit the adult murder mysteries are FUN! But they have all kinds of great themes. Its FUN GO!

Coach seating for this trip. It was a bit warm with the windows open. Staff were nice enough and the ride was slow and bumpy in spots.

See if you can get a Groupon deal for tix, this ride is absolutely not worth the asking price of $40 for 2 adults. It's about a 40 min ride from one town to another in an antique rail car. Drinks (soft & alcohol) are available for purchase. I'd think twice before doing it on a hot summer day, the... More

Great little railroad trip to start the day off. Situated in the heart of New Hope. They even have a conductor on the train!

Got the Groupon deal and booked for Sunday morning. The parking at the train station is $20 but the lot next door is $1/hour which worked better for us. For 3 hours, we did the one hour train ride that covers 9 miles, walked around town and had a mini snack/lunch. I have severe allergy toward pollen so riding the... More

We a planned a wedding through the New Hope and Ivyland railroad in May of 2015. We were nervous at first about such a nontraditional venue, but now we can not imagine having spent our special day anywhere else. Our planners were helpful and accomodating, they helped us navigate the process and find vendors that would be able to cater... More

This is a trip I take often with my five year old. Even had her third birthday party on this train. Always exceptional service, beautiful scenery, and so relaxing. One of our favorite things to do on the weekends. We also checked out the Polar Express train ride this past winter and were so happy with everything. Would recommend this... More

We went on the New Hope & Ivyland Train for the 11am hourly excursion, on Saturday, 5/23 (Memorial Day weekend). For our purposes and experience, this was a fun little train ride. I thought the prices were a little high, so I looked to Groupon and found a deal for $25/2 adults, and then I ordered tickets for our family... More

Beautiful day. Old time feel. Cars were clean; narration was clear and helpful. Trip was rather short for the cost of the ticket.
