We went on the New Hope & Ivyland Train for the 11am hourly excursion, on Saturday, 5/23 (Memorial Day weekend). For our purposes and experience, this was a fun little train ride. I thought the prices were a little high, so I looked to Groupon and found a deal for $25/2 adults, and then I ordered tickets for our family... More

Beautiful day. Old time feel. Cars were clean; narration was clear and helpful. Trip was rather short for the cost of the ticket.

It is a nice ride if you are into railroads. Unfortunately, if you are into seeing scenery, this ride will disappoint you. Along with the train ticket, you also have to pay to park. I got the upgrade seats, but the ride is the same as coach.

The New Hope Steam Train features daily scenic rides rides (R/T) plus specialty train rides too. Just a block from Umpleby House BB Hotel, I can hear the faint toot of the Steam Engine from my porch.

My family and I have done the Mother's Day brunch over the last few years and found this year was not up to par. The VIP was expensive for the quality of food and drink offered. The train itself is beautiful, but the tour is the same every year with no variation.

this 1890 Steam locomotive is awesome! We went on a Wine Train on the recommendation of our innkeepers at Aaron Burr House BB Inn. Great sunset ride through the countryside, and return . We sat in the Open Car, but fully enclosed train cars were also an option.

I've ridden this train since I was a child and up until a few years ago I thought you received a reasonable value for your money ( not cheap but not a ripoff ). This changed last year when my wife and I went to New Hope on a weekday between Christmas and New Year. The price they were asking... More

We enjoyed the lovely train ride with our son and daughter -in - law last spring. They live in California so they really enjoyed the dogwoods and spring flowers. A beautiful spring trip. I am sure this is also nice in the summer and fall but perhaps spring is best - especially after the long and cold winter we have... More

A great piece of history. Wonderful antique railroad that provides service to surrounding area. Worth a ride. They offer dining on board for a unique classic experience.
