We first went here 10 years ago. Then the museum was informative but heavy on archives and reading. The revamp was needed but may have gone too far the other way. The boards are all fresh and informative with a balance of hands on exhibits and things to look at. However, a bit more info about the evolution would have... More

Value for money and a wealth of history and information a real must visit . a samll price on admission is worth every penny for a piece of so much history in a lovely unspoilt part of Cornwall.

Visited today with hubby and two young girls. Not sure what I was expecting from such a specialised museum, but I loved it!!! Didn't see the girls much, they were too busy deciphering messages, finding pigeons and being quietly respectful of the staffs explanations. This really is a fab place and easily filled a good few hours. Special attention to... More

Our visit took about 2 1/2 hours. Hourly talk was interesting and worth catching. Plenty of things to see and information about the items in the main building. Lots more stuff in the tunnels but less information. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit if you're vaguely interested.

We decided to go there because we wanted to get out of the rain and I'm so glad that we did! It's a fascinating little museum that has just had a major face-lift which includes a little cafe. The ticket also includes entry to the surprisingly large cave used during the wars. The whole place is crammed full of the... More

Definitely not to be missed, this place is a jewel in Cornwall's crown. If you only visit one attraction in Cornwall, this should be it. I had no idea of the importance of the telegraph, its importance in the two World Wars or its current relevance to the internet. It was fascinating to learn of the internationally vital part played... More

To be honest, didn't think I would like this, was my husband's choice to visit. However, I actually found this place fascinating. The lady gave an excellent talk, explaining the process of laying the cables under the sea etc. Makes you realise how far communications have come! Plenty to look at, and make sure you go in the tunnels, even... More

The refurbished centre is very modern and caters well for adults and children alike with plenty of demos\touchy things. A great demo was given by staff on how the earliest messages were sent, a far cry from sms\email today! The underground bunker in the hillside is amazing and again, the demos given by former workers at the site were very... More

The museum is reasonably priced and an interesting day out. The demonstration and talk were good. The food served in cafe was fairly priced and freshly made. Good interactive stuff for kids ( and adults like me ). Well worth a visit.

Came here in late 90s when it first opened and whilst interesting, wasn't much for kids (good job it was before rugrats for us) returned this year to find that they had just opened a state of the art visitors centre (still snagging the building it was that new!) the kids loved it, my lad (9) is military barmy so...
