A great night outing. I'm not a baseball fan. Went for a special event occuring prior to the game. Love the seating...big difference from the "cliffhanger" seating in the past. It was just nice to walk around and take in the family fun.

I'm a Phils fan, so I remember the Red Barons Triple A team. Now they're a Yankee Triple A Team, not as great, but the facilities are great. Family friendly, plenty of parking, tickets are cheap, good beer choices...Staff is so friendly! Keep up the great work! They deserve raises, hands down.

Although it may not be the MLB, you'll still get to see some big name players. The breaks in between innings will keep the whole family on their toes, as they have many fun competitions and toss souvenirs into the stands. You may even get the opportunity to catch a home run or a fowl ball! The stadium is clean... More

There isn't much better on a summer afternoon than a baseball game - with a hot dog, beer and peanuts!! We love going to a ballgame, especially at minor league parks where access is easier and prices are more affordable - and our trip to see the RailRiders on a Wednesday afternoon in July was nothing short of our expectations.... We visited the Poconos for a couple of days and discovered that the Yankees AAA ball team plays in the Scranton-Wilkes Barre area. What an affordable great way to spend the evening. Our top priced ticket was less than $15. It's a beautiful new ball park nestled into hills, very easy to get to and also to get out of... More

Check out the new digs for the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the triple A affiliate for the Yankees. Stay at the Springhill Suites - it overlooks the stadium and is newly built.

We learned they just redid the stadium and it's a fun place to watch a minor league game. There's lots of seating options, so pick the one that works for you. The food choices are typical stadium food - not overly expensive, but not cheap either - may want to eat prior to the game to save some bucks (and... More

This was my first visit to the remodeled ballpark. This is definitely one of the best minor league ballparks that I have visited. The staff was extremely helpful and there were plenty of knowledgeable employees to answer any questions that you may have. The stadium was very clean as were the restrooms. Food selections were numerous, well priced and much... More

Ordered tickets for a game OVER PHONE in June in late May since I happened to be passing through the area. I asked the person on the phone to send me tickets via mail, as I did not want to wait in lines when I got to the stadium. (reasonable request, right?). They said they would get them right out... While many people used to complain that old stadium that stood in the exact spot felt to "major league," no one can complain of that now. The old "Lackawanna County Stadium" was designed to resemble Veterans Stadium, old home of the Phillies, since the Scranton Wilkes Barre Red Barrons were the minor league affiliate of the Phillies. But once the... More
