I'm usually much more chatty in my reviews, and even come up with better review titles. But I pretty much can't say anything that hasn't already been said here. This is a must-do 5 star attraction! Went over on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with my Subaru Forester, and paid $11 one way.

When on route 322 going north from Harrisburg, we cross the Susquehanna River on the Clark's Ferry Bridge. If we have time and the weather is nice we drive north to Millersburg and cross the river on a ferry instead of a bridge. In Millersburg the ferry landing is in the riverfront park. On the west side from Route 11/15,... More

My hubby and I visited there last week. We rode the ferry over and back for $5 round trip per person. Captain was so nice, and it was a relaxing ride. Last year we loaded are car onto the ferry and then drove around. I want to go again at sun set, I am sure it is so pretty on... More

I am from this town and our class booked a private ride. It was very nice and staff on the ferry boat made sure we had a nice time.

What a great ride across the river on an old ferryboat. What to go from East shore in small town Millersburg to the West shore PA Route 11/15 just below Liverpool. Nice an cool out on the water and they also host parties also.

We decided, on the spur of the moment, to take the Millersburg Ferry across the river. We are so glad we did! After hearing about it on a local news broadcast and living in the area since 2002, we finally took the ferry and could just imagine wagon trains and a team of horses using this to forge the river.... Take a ride on the historic paddlewheel ferry boat located in Millersburg, PA. I grew up here so this ferry boat has a special place in my heart. My neighbor is the ferry captain. You can walk onto the ferry and ride across the Susquehanna river or take your car on and get off in Liverpoool PA on route 15North.... More

My parents took me as a child multiple times and what a privilege to take my own kids on the Millersburg ferry. I also remember looking forward to eating ice cream while waiting for the ferry to dock on its arrival on our side of the river. Years later my wife and I took a fond memories trip across the... This is the last remaining wooden paddle wheel ferry in the US. If you are anywhere near here, it is definitely worth making a detour to experience this ferry. Crossing only takes 20 minutes or so and is a once in a lifetime thing to do. Easy to find in Millersburg, with a charming park where you can wait for... More

The thing should not still be operational, I mean, its been there since the 1800s, its made of wood...one look at the thing and you are sure its gonna sink.....THATS THE FUN OF IT! Its something that you have to experience, its peaceful, beautiful, unique and pretty much one of a kind. It isnt terribly out of the way and... More
