This place is awful if care anything about animal care and conservation. The smell will just knock you out, they should really clean much better. The bear, pigs, and goats are all extremely obese due to cramped quarters and overfeeding. The fish and turtles were in dirty water. It takes less than an hr to go through thank goodness. They... I have visited the snake and animal farm many times over the last 20 years. It is old school poconos, but alot of fun for kids and adults alike. The animals all seem to be very well taken care of, and the staff seems caring. The old capuchin monkey Fred is over 40 years old and a favorite of anyone... More

The animals appeared to be much healthier than the *other* zoo-like attraction in the Pocono area. It still lacks anything like a natural habitat for any of the animals, but they didn't appear to be obviously unhealthy/unhappy like the animals in that *other* zoo-like attraction. When planning your day, remember that this is a very small zoo... it would be... More

My family and I visited the Snake and Animal Farm about 2 weeks ago and had an okay time. It is very small and a little too dark for me. They had a lot of small monkeys a few snakes and some alligators and goats. There was only one bear and one cheetah. The venue is very small and can... More

My husband & I have worked with animals our whole adult lives and this zoo was a great little spot. The Animal care guy was going through in the morning and cleaning out enclosures and feeding animals. Each animal got up, went to him & showed him affection---a true dign that he is good to them. All of the primates... More

It does cost extra, but you can feed some of the animals. it's through a tube or you have to toss it to them, but what zoo lets you even do that? We also got to watch them feed the snakes. They had lots - gross, but cool! More

Don't be fooled from the outside of the building. There's lots of interesting and lively animals inside! You can feed them all, except for the snakes. Great for kids and little people alike. Our favorite part was the bobcat and black panther. Go visit! More

You're on your way to somewhere, and you spot the sign...you groan, thinking the kids will also spot this ridiculous roadside attraction and beg incessantly for you to stop and let them check it out.....I thought, what the hell, it'll be an education for them as to what NOT to do on vacation. I couldn't have been more wrong. This... More
