Stopped by on our way to Lancaster and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor of the wine tasting room. No reservations were needed and we were greeted warmly. Prices were reasonable and we were able to roam through the vineyards as well. Very lovely and scenic location.

Manheim's Waltz Estate Winery has a bottle shop on Main Street in Lititz, with a cute little bar built for an awkward threesome. The cheerful newlyweds behind it last December served up four tastes of their best mediocre wine in plastic cups, which we paid for. So far, no surprises. Whether by terroir or terrible taste, Pennsylvania wineries delight in... More

As an avid wine lover, I have toured wineries in different places and have to say this is my favorite, even more than Napa Valley. Perhaps it's the peaceful feeling you get from the vineyards scattered over the farm, or the friendly service and staff who take the highest pride in their job, or simply the fact that their Crow's... We planned our Lancaster County visit to include one of the wineries in the area. Waltz Vineyards was conveniently nearby, so we stopped there. This is an estate vineyard, meaning that the grapes are grown and made into wine on site. The buildings are on top of a hillside with a beautiful view of the valley - if the weather... More

We stopped in the Waltz wine shop in Lititz for wine tasting. Although it is a very small area, we got served very quickly and in a very friendly manner. Amelia (sp?) was working that day and she works both here and at the main location in Manheim. The wines are always consistently good and the staff is very knowledgeable... More

I cannot say enough good things about this winery. They are so professional and customer oriented. Visited on a wine tour and was so impressed. They had beakers that they put the wine in to pour into your glass plus a beaker of water to rinse your glass in between wines. The woman that poured the wine was friendly and... More

Four of us stopped by here this past weekend for a tasting and to check out the atmosphere. We were very warmly greeted upon entering. Unfortunately the power had just went out but they were still open and accomodating. Two of us chose the Light and Fruity tasting menu, while my girlfriend and I chose the Dry and Serious and... This boutique winery in Manheim is a special place to visit. The winery is situated on rolling hills in the country side, and its wines are first class. Tastings are a unique experience. You choose from the "Light and Fruity" ($7) sampler and the "Dry and Serious" ($10) sampler. Each offers 5 wine selections (combination of reds and whites, served... More

The best PA wine we have had by far. After having an excellent wine tasting in Virginia recently, followed by an absolutely awful PA wine tasting, I was a little skeptical to try another PA winery; but this one lived up to it's reputation. WOW! We loved it! Came home with 6 bottles and I'm sure we will be back.

Thanks to a very knowledgeable B&B host, we discovered Waltz Vineyards about 4 years ago and fell in love with the vineyards and the wine! Kim and Jan are very passionate about producing excellent wines with the highest standards. Everything is estate grown and made and bottled right in their boutique winery. The vines are meticulously tended. Step inside the... More
