Bear Creek is a beautiful, newer ski facility that could be so much better than it is if it was run like skiing mattered. While it has a neat hotel, bar, and looks great the place is regularly overrun by crowds on the weekend and the runs are poorly groomed. If it was organized better and run with a little... More

Loved EVERYTHING about the place. They made it look easy to be almost perfect! I was a guest for a wedding and spent the night. Everything from food to customer service was exceptional.

Our day trip was mid-week which was the ideal time to go. Only 1/3 of the main parking lot had cars = super short lift line waits. We too were astonished by how fantastic the lodge is: carpeted, with beautiful rustic wood, soaring ceilings and a great selection of really good food. There was a separate room for folks who... I attended a mountain biking banquet here with my boyfriend. They had a super cute picnic type buffet set up which I thought entirely appropriate. We traveled around the facilities and thought the sloped looked polished and not as crowded, as say, Camel Back (good thing). they had a full sized heated pool and randomly placed hot tubs. The facilities... More

This mountain is close to where I live, so it is the go to for a night of skiing. The conditions vary widely, from heavy granular slush to icy nightmare to groomed corduroy. There are three terrain parks, nothing special. Sasquatch and Extreme can be challenging, but frequently too icy. The prices are fair, the lift lines are very fast... More

This is our first trip. If you know what you're doing and a veteran on this type of thing. I'm sure you'll be fine. But I was left to figure out things on my own. I also wish things like these will not be very expensive. But I guess that's the nature of the activity. Nice place and lodge. My... More

The tubing is a must do just for the thrill. Absolute fun. Little pricey but it is worth the money in smiles and speed. You'll understand once you do it. The skiing is just ok. The staff and everyone are great, but the "hills" is what gets to you. I don't recall ever going to a mountain and getting stopped... More

We spent New Years Eve here .A real resort feel. The People were great, friendly and a beautiful view from the lodge. Inside was warm and friendly. Outside the ski mountain was a little small but the tubing was very good .the only thing i didnt like about tubing was you had to stop yourself. We would like to go... More

The tubing at Bear Creek was fine, a 10 - 15 minute wait at the top, after a decent ride on the "electric sidewalk" > although you are not allowed to sit on your tube for the ride back up to the top...must go up "standing up" . Kind of a shakey ride, like surfing on a back and forth... More

I took my first ski lesson here (January 2012) and tried a few more lessons other places (Camelback and Killington) and have to say this, by far, is the BEST place to learn. They set it up in stations so you move to the next as you master the one you're on. There are about 4-5 people in each group... More
