The friendly volunteers were delighted to have visitors and share their small but charming museum. If you wish you can have a docent take you on a tour of a Moravian home for a small fee. We were delighted with the pictures and artifacts of days gone by in this lovely little town. My favorite thing was the pictures of... More

Early Saturday morning Dick gave my 2 sisters and myself a personal tour of the museum and detailed history of the town of Lititz, from it's origination to the time the English were permitted to inhabit the town. There are two beautiful tall clocks in the museum that have very detailed inlay work. I think one clock has 35000 pieces... More

Well worth the time if you want to understand what Lititz is about. We opted for the tour of the Johannes Mueller house, which is adjacent to the Lititz Historical Foundation building. Paul, our guide for the house tour clad in 18th century clothing, was very eager to share his knowledge of local history and it made the experience more... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this little museum and tour. The free museum had excellent displays on the history of Lititz (founded as a Moravian town in 1756) and life in the 1700s and 1800s. The museum staff were so friendly and had so much to share that we chatted for a quite a while. Then we paid for guided... More

make sure you take the paid tour, girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. With the paid tour you get to tour the house and a little more information on the area.

The museum was small but the people were great and gave a quick overview and then let us ask more questions as time allowed. They were also great for insights on what else to do in the community.

We were not expecting this to be as extensive a venue as it turned out to be. The free display area was very interesting, but the real treat was the tour of the Mueller House! Our guide was a Lititz native ("born & raised"), as was a real treat. Very entertaining and informative. The fee for this tour is so... More

I toured the Mueller house a long time ago with my family. It was very informative with the history of the Brother's (Moravian's) and what they did during the early settlement of Lititz. I love history so I found their tour was great. The gift shop was nice too. Plenty of Moravian stars for sale. They usually have an attraction... More

This is a small town that is very proud of its rich history and has worked to preserve its past. The staff is very knowledgeable and they have a wonderful collection of artifacts that tells the story of how people lived and worked in this community nearly 300 years ago.

Nice, clean bathrooms, helpful and knowledgeable staff, nice souvenirs to purchase and an abundance of local historical information. Would be excellent for a homeschooling family to visit.
