The smell of chocolate greets you as you enter the small town of Lititz, so of course that was the first place we headed by just following the smell! The self guided tour and museum are small, but very informative. Staff is available to answer questions. And there is a small gift shop where you can buy a large variety... More

Recently visited with family and the moment you walk through the doors you are hit with the most amazing smells of chocolate. The staff was very friendly and chocolatiers were willing to answer any questions. We got to watch them mold chocolate and view different historical pieces they have of the company. You cannot leave however without trying the famous... More

Stopped hear on our way to Lancaster and enjoyed it. Nothing too special but does provide an inside look to how chocolate in general is made. Chocolate was good and they had a wide variety of products. Self guided tour was ok really just looking at chocolate molds from different eras and a short video.

It was our Mother's Day tradition to go to Lititz...which always included a stop at Wilbur. When our kids were small, we would go down the road to Staufer's of Kissel Hill (a large store that sells groceries, amish treats, plants, crafts, and has a fun hot food bar) buy food from the hot bar and take it to the... I did read that it wasn't a factory tour, and I am glad they didn't charge, because the chocolate store with a bunch of antiques in it and some ladies filling chocolate molds in the back doesn't seem like much of a museum or a factory tour to me. We did buy some chocolate, and it was very good.

A small chocolate factory, Wilbur Chocolate is located in the cute town of Lilitz which is a must see in and of itself. Not too much to see inside the factory as it is mostly a store selling Wilbur Chocolate, the store also has a part in the back where you can see people preparing some of the chocolatey snacks... It's just a big store hawking their products. We didn't even consider paying to tour the factory. No real attraction except for watching kids beg their parents. We didn't think the chocolate was as good as Hershey's. We question the judgement of our friends, who said it was a "must-see."

Nice quick little trip to a quaint PA town...The smell of chocolate when you enter the Wilbur store/museum hits you and starts the taste buds wanting some Wilbur buds!! The 2 grandsons (5 /12) loved the things that Wilbur does with their chocolate--tools/cars/toys--really neat novelity items...Although we missed the bus that was there when we rolled into Lititz, the store... If you have a desire for chocolate - this place will fill all your needs. Pretty crowded if it is around a holiday that focuses on candy. We were there near Easter so it was pretty packed. Very good chocolate.
