We stopped here following a tour of the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery (see my review - highly recommended!). The "museum" aspect is sort of intertwined in the store - I thought it might be more of a separate attraction, but it's not - that doesn't make it a bad thing, just not exactly what I was thinking. Be sure to... More

Neat little store with awesome chocolate and lots of different varieties of chocolate coated candies. A must stop while in Lititz. Buy some chocolate and then head over to the park to sit be the stream and enjoy some of it. Try a sample of a Wilbur bud and stock up on them for friends, family and co-workers.

Take a ride 20 minutes from Schaefferstown, South on Rt. 501 to Lititz, PA to enjoy a lovely, historical chocolate factory, Wilbur Chocolates. Friendly workers, authentic old candy making machinery and a view of folks making chocolate favorites, as you watch. Delicious choices of many candies to buy, too. All of it is totally delicious!

If you like great chocolate, don't miss the Wilbur Buds at Wilbur Chocolate. In addition, there are other delicious chocolate items from cover nuts and dried fruit to coffee. Take a few minutes to do the self-guided chocolate museum. The have an impressive collection of hot chocolate serving pots. It's a "must stop" place!

People told me to visit. Ehh, I think you must be really into chocolate to appreciate. I can't say I learned anything. Shop is small, the kitchen has a glass window so you can watch what they are doing. Obama apparently visited while he was campaigning in 2008 and the photo is displayed. Town is cute.

This place of course smells wonderful, and you can get a crash course on the history of chocolate making. Quite a few antiques on display. You can see some staff preparing chocolate through the glass in the museum area. Large variety of chocolate and souvenirs available to take home.

If there's any sort of chocolate you like, you're guaranteed to find something to your taste here. They have everything from regular-old milk chocolate to all sorts of exotic confectioneries. In particular, they have a number of molded/shaped chocolates that would probably make very nice gifts. One chocolate I bought here (some sort of banana/sea-salt chocolate) was literally the best... Nice store and loved the old molds and displays of chocolate. It was a museum and store in one. Very nicely arranged. The smell was wonderful too. Interesting to here the history or chocolate and of Wilburs.

This is the place to have yourself a chocolate coma. Wonderful chocolates of all sorts abound in this great store. You can find just about any kind of chocolate candy your heart desires. You can find some of the more unusual items, such as chocolate covered potato chips. The aroma as soon as you walk int the doors is just... More
