If you are looking for a quiet, low key university where you can spend quiet nights studying then you'd enjoy Bucknell. Situated in quiet Lewisburg, PA you're a good hour and half to two hours from most major cities. While life on campus is not exactly quiet, you can ALWAYS find something to do! There are parties, concerts, sporting events,... More

It's a great place to study and does also have a lot of cool places to see. There is always something going on around campus.

Compared to other universities, Bucknell is pretty small. However, the campus is well kept and the architecture is pleasant. Downtown Lewisburg (Market Street) is a short walk away, and it is worth a detour.

this is a lovely campus, right out of a book, and worth just a drive for the sake of the architecture and the generally well-clad and well-behaved students... we're sure plenty of shenanigans break out behind closed doors, but bucknell seems like a university that really cares about its community... incidentally, the nickname is Bison, not Bisons, suggesting all one..... The town is awesome! I fell in love with it and being Bucknell's Homecoming it also had a very fun atmosphere

Beautiful campus. Drove around the whole campus and was surprised how large it was, and very well maintained. The Bucknell bookstore was nice to visit, and grabbed a cup of coffee while the wife shopped.

The campus is beautiful and offers much to the community, The Samek Art Museum, Weis Center for the Performing Arts, sports and the many cultural activities you would expect. I believe one of the best things about Bucknell is the central Pennsylvania location and the charming town of Lewisburg. The area boasts outdoor activities in the nearby rolling hills, forests, streams... More

Bucknell is a beautiful campus nestled in the town of Lewsiburg PA. Known as a "Baby Ivy", Bucknell attracts some exceptional talent, both students and faculty alike. Even though there has been new construction on campus, the university has taken great care to align the architecture of the newer buildings to blend with the older buildings on campus. The Rook... The campus is absolutely beautiful. We were really impressed by the friendliness of the students and their wilingness to help and answere questions. Their pride in their school was obvious.

I travelled with my daughter, not knowing what to expect. I was quite amazed at the presentation - rowing (by head coach) and guided tour (by student). A beautiful campus, terrific location on the side of the town and lots of space to grow around it. The river drifting past was ideal
