First off, I have skied here since I was a kid...and it is a great time. But we went this past weekend for the mountain adventure ogo balls and zip line, and we had a ball - literally! I went with my two nieces, age 7 and 9, and they both had a blast also. Most of the activities are... More

I love hearing from a snow passionate person who visits us in the summer! Thank you for bringing your nieces here! Great descriptions of all the activities included with Mountain Adventures! The moving carpet lift isn't turned on in the summer because riders have to stand still on it (otherwise the belt jumps/skips) and people tend to want to get... More

This was a first-time experience for my spouse and son, who both wanted to try snowboarding. We purchased the package deal which included all the rental equipment, lift tickets, and a 90 minute lesson. We all had a fun time and but note the following: (1) the helmet rental was a separate fee, but they waived it for us on... More

Thanks for giving us a try! Yes, March is a good time to come, for all the reasons you mentioned! The $39 deal was only available in March for pre-registered groups of 10+ so you can be confident you didn't miss out on any special deal! Agreed, the Wingate is a great lodging partner! Thanks again for coming - feel... More

We had the worst experience ever!!! The instructors for the kids 4-7 y.o. didn't help my sons to get up on the chairlift. Both boys slipped from the chair on the ground and one of them was hit by the chair in the head (Thank God for helmets!!!). The chairlift operator didn't even look to the kids' chair to make... More

Dana - I'm sorry to hear about your experience! I regret that this happened to your family. Please contact me at groups@skiroundtop.com - I'd be happy to arrange private lessons for your children, at your convenience, next season. Lutricia More

This ski resort was a lot of fun. The staff were pleasant and helpful....even the cook in the cafeteria. This place is very busy on the weekends but Monday through Wednesday is not too crowded at all. The parking lot was an ice rink in some spots. The food is less expensive than Whitetail but still around 13 dollars per... More

Thank you for visiting! I appreciate your shout out for one of our cooks - an oft un-recognized position! Hope to have you visit again soon - and maybe in the summer for our zip lines or OGO ball! More

Went to Roundtop on President's day hoping that it'd be less crowded at the end of a 3-day weekend. And supposedly it was, compared to the Sunday before when they ran out parking spaces by 11 am. But believe all the reviews that warn you about the rental lines because it's the one thing that will negatively impact everything positive... More

Thank you for visiting us! Yes, all of President's Day weekend was really busy! Everyone does tend to show up in the morning in hopes of maximizing their day on snow and the process definitely slows down in rentals. We're always looking for opportunities to improve the process and I appreciate your suggestions. More

Friend and I registered our 6 children (ages 6 - 13 y.o.) for the Mountaineer ski program - all first time skiers. They had a blast!!! Downside More directional signs (especially for parking) would be helpful, and sadly, no fault of the resort, my camera was stolen while we were occupied with putting ski boots on 6 squirmy, excited kids.... Used a pass I was given for lift ticket, rentals and lesson to take advantage of trying out the parabolic skis (yes, long time since I had been skiing). Went during the week and it was not crowded - had a nice lesson and an enjoyable time. The buildings and services are nice. The food and drink prices are quite... More

Your review made me smile - you're exactly right, during the week, mid-day is the time to be here! Often you end up having an instructor to yourself for the price of a group lesson. It's a great deal! I'm glad you're aware of the options for bringing your own food in the lower level - a couple years ago... More

Took the kids this weekend for the first time. They took the mountaineers class and both loved it and were both skiing by the end of the day. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which was incredible given the crowds during the holiday weekend. We loved it and will go back.

Thank you for bringing your kids here! We've gotten a lot of positive feedback on the Mountaineer program (ski/snowboard lesson from 11-3, includes lunch for those of you reading this, wondering what we're referring to). I'm stoked that they got the hang of it - we look forward to you returning! Lutricia More

Second trip to Roundtop Mountain Resort this year and not a great experience either time. I'll only go in to today's experience as it will be a long enough story. We've had some nice weather lately (by nice I mean lots of snow) which made for some great skiing. Blue Knob resort (previous day) was great. Powder everywhere and manageable... More

Thank you for your review - you were indeed here on our busiest day of the entire year! We rarely (at the most, twice a year) have to park people in the field you mentioned and when we do, we always hope it's frozen so the mud you referenced doesn't happen! We were thrilled that so many people wanted to... More

My fiancé and I visited roundtop for the weekend for valentines day. Friday night we went snow tubing it was fun and the lines moved swiftly. Saturday we went back ski.
