We stayed here with family that come once a year. If you have not been and are able to I would suggest driving through the camp to see what sites would be fit your sleeping situation. Also so sites are just down right to tiny to even tent camp in or have very old picnic tables. The bugs are insanely... More

I went to this park to peruse the tent camping sites. I found the sites to have alot of underbrush and foliage around the sites to give you the appearance of privacy. There were many with abundant shade, flat areas to pitch your tent and all had a macadam pad for one car. The park seemed to be relatively clean.... More

Camping sites are close together with lots of poison and "scrubby" brush undergrowth all around. Bath/shower house was disgusting - water everywhere and needs updates. Mosquitoes were horrible- probably due to the scummy lake. There is a small sandy beach in the camping area, but the big "beach" in the day use area shouldn't really be called a beach at... More

We hiked the trails and sat by the water on a day trip. It's a beautiful park. We plan to camp there as well this summer. It's worth the short drive from York for the weekend.

Beautiful, well-maintained park, lovely picnic area right off the lake. Boats and kayaks to rent. There was a little flooding on the paths, because of the recent rain.

Fall 2009 Most sites are good size. Our 22 foot small RV had difficulty pulling in late at night at the angle of the site. they have a wood lot sign that is not very high off the ground that you need to miss, too. I think this was a tent site but we had a tent for an additional... More

We spent a week in one of the park cabins. This is the best State Park that we have stayed in because of the size of the park and the lake. There are many things to see and do.

Stayed here in the Dragonfly Cottage and had a wonderful stay! As some other reviewers have pointed out, the privacy is a bit lacking between sites, especially the tent sites, but for the cottages it was not such a big deal. It was clean and cozy and simple. We had direct access for our kayak to the lake which was... More
