Love being able to walk around at your leisure to look at the farm animals. I have been taking my niece since she was 9 months old-she just turned 7 yrs old & still loves to spend an afternoon there. Many times we take a lunch, sit at their picnic tables, and then go inside to buy an ice cream... More

I have been to Merrymead farm several times. They have a wonderful farm with a path you can walk around to visit all the animals. They sell produce in a quaint little shop. And wow, they make the most wonderful home made icecream. Last visit my husband had gram cracker icecream that was awesome. I had a standard vanilla and... More

Go for the Ice cream so many flavors all made on premise and so good. While there walk around to one of the tables and pick up a fresh made pie. They frequently have several different type of Apple Pies, you can't just buy one or at least I can't.

Forget chain ice cream, this is the real dairy original. It's a working farm so great visit for the entire family. Check out the animals and the milking barn, then visit the produce stand and floral areas before ending your visit inside for many treats and fabulous ice cream. They sell milk, some PA Dutch specialties, homemade pies, other baked... More

Great place to bring your kids to see a variety of farm animals, lots of seasonal events (corn maze in the fall), good place to buy garden seedlings, outdoor plants, pumpkins. Best of all is the ice cream, and the local-made, fresh bakery items.

I love taking my class here in the fall. It's always a good experience and the kids really enjoy all of the fall activities, and especially the ice cream!

While it is open all year, I suggest facing the crowds and engage in pumpkin ice cream, the petting zoo, the hay rides, pumpkin and gourd selection. Absolutely five stars in terms of a farm-cool serious/

This is a working farm that also allows visitors to see the facilities. At Christmas, they put on a terrific live nativity scene which is well worth visiting. At other times of the year they offer amusements like corn mazes, pig races, and other typically agricultural activities. A great family spot for an hour or two.
