We (myself 57yr. male, wife 57 and daughter 14) attended the Dutch Apple Theatre on March 15, 2015. The dinner was buffet and had chicken, fish and pork as well as a pasta with all the sides. Dessert was an ice cream bar as well as a pie and cake large buffet table. The food was very good and plentiful... More

Went on a Monday evening for the Bobby Darin tribute. Tribute was very good. Enjoyed the live band - always like to hear the trumpets and sax and drums. Food very good and nice variety. Waitress Tracy was always there with drinks and taking of plates. Dessert is always the best. Enjoyed the pies and cakes and of course, the... More

We really enjoyed the show (Funny Girl ). The acting was semi - professional. We had front row seats and the music and singers were very good. The food for the Buffett was just OK. A nice variety. Roast beef, baked chicken, flounder stuffed with crabmeat and assorted veggies. The flounder was not good, roast beef was tough and stringy,... More

My sister and I took a short girls vacation to Lancaster and decided to attend the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. We ordered the tickets in advance and had picked out our seats. We arrived at 6 PM and were promptly seated. We were at a table for 8 but fortunately there were only 4 of us and we were seated... More

My husband treated me for this dinner and show. Thinking it's not in the city, I have less expectations but it turned out to be as good as any Broadway shows. We checked in at the hotel close to the theatre. It is a nice agenda on the side when going to the sight and sound theatres. It's all worth... More

The show was wonderful. We went to see Funny Girl, and the actors and actresses were talented and professional. The wait staff left a little something to be desired, as they said they'd be back during intermission to refill water and we had to go searching for our waiter. The buffet was okay, but it felt a little rushed. You're... More

A group of us went to see Funny Girl on opening night and it was wonderful! The staff was friendly and service was great. The food was average, but it was good, no complaints. The show was great. The woman who played Fanny Brice was ON POINT and could hit a note like no other. I would definitely suggest checking... More

It's an intimate venue so virtually all the seats are good seats. You can introduce your children to famous American plays. The kids also enjoy the dinner theatre experience. While the demographics skew to the senior citizens for the most part, it's still a fun experience for the kids (even the non-kid plays).

This is a very comfortable venue. By this, I mean that it's easy to get to, parking is very convenient, all seating is good. Food is Pennsylvania Dutch buffet. For locals, its second nature, but out-of-towners think its a novelty. The shows are find, provided you know what to expect. It's a cut-below regional theatre but its solid and very... More
