My first time attending was to see seven brides for seven brothers. The production was just awesome. The second show was hairspray, which was a fun and fabulous show. I'm a show person and have attended american music theatre for years, but I have to tell you, this is Soo much more enjoyable. These are actors and actresses Do much... More

Looking for a Broadway type show while visiting Lancaster, well the productions at the Dutch Apple Theatre (just off Route 30) are for you. Just saw the show "Crazy for You" and the production was excellent. Terrific singing and dancing by energetic performers. Additionally, you have the ability to enjoy a tasty buffet dinner which is available one and one-half... More

The Dutch Apple Dinner Theater is a first class experience. First from the office staff who takes your calls or the web page that you can also use to reserve your visit. Both ways are easy low stress activities. In the past due to health we had to change our reserved date and there was no hassle only ease!! The... More

We saw the evening performance with buffet dinner and was thrilled by it! The show was well done and the food was top notch with all you can eat including the desserts! Even though we sat in the front row, the music wasn't too loud to enjoy the show. This place is a must visit if you are into any... More

In summary, if you're a tourist and feel the "need" to see a show (and don't have super high expectations), you'll probably enjoy yourself. If you're local, save your money for a bit longer and go to the Fulton or Hershey Theater and a good dinner. Dinner is a buffet- edible, a few decent items, a few sub-par, about what... More

We saw a matinee of Hairspray. We enjoyed the play but the lunch buffet was average. Over all it was a nice afternoon out.

Very disappointed. Went to see Hairspray, the cast was mediocre at best. I am surprised this is not a volunteer play. The man playing the mother was the only reason we stayed he was fantastic. The lead, and nemesis were horrific. I think they were coached to sing in annoying highpitched squeal.. Not so good. Seating was terrible we didnt... More

My wife and I had not been to Dutch Apple for a number of years. We went tonight for the Hairspray production. First, the food has shown a dramatic improvement over our past experiences. It was buffet food, but excellent nonetheless. Second, the Hairspray production was terrific! The lead, Megan Power as Tracy Turnblad, owned the part. Made it come... More

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary by going to Dutch Apple to see Hairspray. The musical was excellent, as good or better than anything on Broadway, excellent acting, can not say enough good things about the show. We really enjoyed Hairspray and highly recommend it to everyone. The meal on the other hand was just ok, buffet... More
