My husband and I and our two year old son just returned from our first trip to Lancaster, PA and Dutch Wonderland. We planed to go the Dutch Wonderland on Sunday, October 18 during their "Happy Hauntings" Halloween celebration. We chose this day so my son could participate in the costume contest. After dealing with two days of cold and... more

We went with our 2-year-old and almost 5-year-old. Everyone had a wonderful time. The rides are designed for young children and, even though we went on a weekend, we never waited in line for very long. The water park was fun too. Some bubblers and small slides for the very little ones, bigger slides and fountains for slightly older kids,... more

We went to Dutch Wonderland in July 09 with our two kids aged 2 and 5. They just loved it and i would highly recommend it to parents with young kids. The rides are all kid friendly and both kids could use almost all rides. They also have a small water park which is great to cool off. more

We have been coming here for years, first with our children, and now with our grandchildren. The season passes are a best buy, especially if purchased in the fall (they are good for the remainder of that year, plus the entire following year). Stay at the Millstream Campground next door if camping. It is so convenient to just walk through... more

Our preschooler had a great time - his favorite was the bumper cars. We went early on a cloudy day - no lines! This would be a good place for kids grade 4 and under as well -- roller coaster and other thrill rides. PROS: family-friendly, rides to please a variety of ages, small park means less walking, short drive... more

This park is great for the whole family because it has lots of rides for younger children. We went every year when our kids were small. It has lots of attractions that are fun like a big cast iron cow that kids can climb on. It is relaxing to walk around the park which is surrounded by trees. This park... more

With prince and princess themed rides and attractions, it is a really cute place that seems "Disney-esque" for our kids who have never been to any Disney themed park. It is not overly big, but it is big enough for you to take advantage of their special passes and go for two days if you have young ones. There are... more

We go to Dutch Wonderland at least once every Summer with the kids. We started when they were 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 and haven't missed a Summer. They are now 4 and 6. It is geared towards children under the age of 8. The kids can ride most of the rides alone but you can usually ride along if... more

Was at DW 09/12/09. DW provides a great family experience. Granted, most of the attractions are geared towards younger children (8 and under). There are still plenty of attractions and rides suitable for bigger kids as well. The swings and Roller Coaster are very good rides suitable for older children. See if you can find coupons online to save a... more

My family and I purchase season passes for Dutch Wonderland each year! We have so much fun every time we go! My son is 4 and my daughter is 2.... DW is a perfect place for them! They can ride 99% of the rides and the water park is awesome!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about DW! Our time... more
