I was impressed with the amount of interactive exhibits at this smaller museum. My two year old loved all the tactile exhibits, although I would say it would be ideal if she were around 4 as some of it was too advanced. The live bee hive and other animals were especially exciting.

This museum has some great things for kids to do, but it did not occupy my grandkids for very long. It was a much smaller museum than I thought. The top floor only had photos of dinosaurs which my grandkids were not interested in, and the basement only had displays animals. The main floor was ok with hands on things.... More

This newly refurbished museum and planetarium was interesting to both adults and children. The program at the Planetarium was up-to-date and the guide was very knowledgeable. The exhibits were interesting and many were interactive for the children. We will return.

The North Museum of Nature and Science is an excellent learning center for my entire family. We enjoy this museum because you can go see a show in the planetarium and see two headed animals in the basement.

The North Museum just underwent a multi million dollar renovation. We always took our kids here every couple of years and they loved it. This was are first visit since the renovation and we were disappointed. There are not as many interactive activities for little children as there used to be and as many updated museum's currently do strive for... More

Great place to take kids to show them that the word museum doesn't mean boring. My 8 year old and 4 year old grandsons roamed this museum for 3 hours, exploring all of the hands-on child-friendly exhibits, asking questions about the 'touch tank' animals, and watching the show in the planetarium. Inexpensive considering that it entertained them for so long.... More

I take my toddler to this museum a couple of times a month, and she loves it! The discovery room has multiple hands-on collections, including one that allows visitors to recreate an assortment of bird sounds, which usually gives the whole room a pleasing natural background din. The indoor bee hive is another highlight, allowing visitors to observe the daily... More

A great, little museum for kids of all ages. The planetarium is the highlight so be sure to visit when there is a show. My kids love the beehive. It is indoors behind plexiglass so the bees can observed at work. Very cool!

this museum has been closed for renovations. I was expecting something much better. There is very little to see or do. The main floor has a reptile exhibit. There are some magnetic bottles for hands on but that's it. The dinosaurs are metal or plastic. There are no maps of the place although one isn't needed. The entire museum is... More
