Many visits over the years here provided most of a day's worth of fun for elementary age kids--they still talk about now that they are teens. They especially loved the factory activity at the end.

I had a season pass for my daughter and I. It is a great place to go in the cold winter that is fun and safe and perfect for the little ones to engage in a variety of fun activities. Summer is great too with the gardens, It's fun.

This is a great place for kids under 12. There are plenty of exhibits. And everything is hands on friendly so the kids learn as they play.

This is a great places for kids, maybe 7 and under. Any one who has kids knows how much they love being hands on and this place if exactly that. They get to experience things that otherwise in the real-world would be out of bounds for them. My daughter loved dressing up in costumes and putting on a show for... More

This is a small but pleasant place, however, it really hasn't changed since we visited last about 5 years ago. The exhibits are meant for children under the age of 6. My 7 and 10 year old were pretty bored. However, the facility is clean and neat and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This was our 1st stop this time on our trip to lancaster... Our children, 6 and 2 had a really great time. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. There was so much to do for both of my kids and my hubby and I. Didn't see food or drink but got stamped and was told we... More

Great place for young children! Engages their creativity and appeals to their curiosity. Even though our eight year old confided in me "Grammy, I'm really getting too old for Hands-on-House, but I will go and help you with Ryan" (Ryan is four), they both enjoyed themselves. Understandably, if it was only the eight year old, I would not have chosen... More

Took our 2.5 year old there (2014). She had an okay time - a little frustrated by some of the older kids. But the disappointing part was going outdoors - there was sand that we could not play in, because of a nest of bees/wasps in the area. I don't know if they've addressed this - but it put a... More

Thanks for your review. Our apologizes that those pesky bees got in the way of having fun outside. We were able to remedy the situation and hope that you will return to enjoy the sand! More

Little tykes will love this but be prepared to empty your wallet. Don't bother looking for coupons... there aren't any that are useful. But our kids loved it over the years, spending a lot of time in the "store" portion.
