Great for kids!

Everything is hands on for the children. Creative experience and rooms are different sizes and shapes.

Great place for young children! Engages their creativity and appeals to their curiosity. Even though our eight year old confided in me "Grammy, I'm really getting too old for Hands-on-House, but I will go and help you with Ryan" (Ryan is four), they both enjoyed themselves. Understandably, if it was only the eight year old, I would not have chosen... More

Thanks for you review! We are so glad that you and your family have shared many memories with us. We love to see the older kids "helping out" with their younger friends. Stop by and see us again soon! More

Took our 2.5 year old there (2014). She had an okay time - a little frustrated by some of the older kids. But the disappointing part was going outdoors - there was sand that we could not play in, because of a nest of bees/wasps in the area. I don't know if they've addressed this - but it put a... More

Thanks for your review. Our apologizes that those pesky bees got in the way of having fun outside. We were able to remedy the situation and hope that you will return to enjoy the sand! More

Little tykes will love this but be prepared to empty your wallet. Don't bother looking for coupons... there aren't any that are useful. But our kids loved it over the years, spending a lot of time in the "store" portion.

This is a great choice for little kids, and by little I would say under 7. 7 and older go to the Science Factory, but younger than 8 this is good and that is why only 4 stars instead of 5. It is simple and easy to go thru as fast or as slow as you wish. Keep it under... More

Thanks for your review! We generally say that the museum is geared for ages 2-10, but it differs from child to child. We hope you and your family enjoyed the facility and be sure to come again soon. More

We have an annual membership but I'm starting to become very disappointed with the location. The staff doesn't seem to care very much about upkeep and the displays are now missing many pieces and not kept up with very well.

Thanks for your review. Next time you visit and see something that is missing/broken/not to your liking, please let the staff know. We're here and happy to help. We do walk through the exhibits a few times a day and we will be vigilant for the small details. See you again soon! More

I have been here with my two kids for school field trips. It's a fun place but it is expensive and the staff do not have a good policy for special needs children (last time we went, they charged for TSS).

It's my opinion that everything that is at this place to be used for teaching can be taught at home. The manipulatives, creative dress-up, grocery shopping, and mechanical learning can be taught at home using cheap tools. You pay to get in for two hours, but young children (the age this is geared too) become easily bored. In addition, the... More

We would like to clarify that your admission is good all day. Even if you wanted to leave and come back later that day for more play. Next time you visit, we encourage you and your... More

This is a great hands on place for small children, they can just put there hands all over everything, there is so much to do and see and especially free, you can't go wrong bringing your children here on a rainy summer day or anytime you feel the need to just let them have a good time

We took our grandson to see Thomas the train & it was a very rainy day. We wanted something to do with him after Thomas that was in doors due to the weather. We got there around 3:30 & we were charged full price then told they would be closing in about an hour. That was a bit of a... More
