We visited the Hands-on House Children's Museum on a Saturday morning around 10 a.m. with two children aged 7. They thoroughly enjoyed all the fun and learning experiences waiting for them! They loved having their Mom's "face paint" them! The highlight seemed to be the "Grocery Store" where they could pick a shopping list, locate their items, and then take... More

We have been to several of these types of attraction all over the East coast and for us, this one was just so so. The price was quite expensive for the size of the place and what it had to offer. We were there on a weekend so it was pretty crowded. While it had a few new things we... More

Thanks for taking the time to review your experience at HOH. Glad to hear your family was able to spend a bit of your weekend with us. We do apologize about the bees by the sandbox, we have been exhausting every possible non-toxic method to get rid of them. Hope you visit again soon. More

I LOVE this place. I'm 21 and luckily I have a niece and nephew that I can bring here and mask the fact that I actually enjoy being a kid again! It's a magical place that I remember vividly as a child. The best part of the Hands-on House is that it's 100% experiential learning. As a national teaching license... More

Despite our many trips to Lancaster area, we happened upon this gem this year. It looks small from the outside but there are a number of activities for kids to participate in and some outside activities as well. I would estimate the age range to go up to about 10, unless you have a mature 10 year old then maybe... More

Having been to several of these types of attractions, I will say that this was a great one! Hands on House was a perfect break from the normal day and a chance for my children to do something fun! I have a 7 and 4 year old and both were extremely entertained! We played in all of the areas...the farm,... More

We stopped here on our way home from vacation and it was a blast. Very interactive with a great variety of play rooms. My children are 3 and 7 and they both had a great time. We have a membership at the Children's Museum in Pittsburgh so admission was half price. Definitely recommend stopping here if you have little ones... More

It was smaller than what we were used to in Philly, but the space was utilized well and there were a lot of things to do at this place. We went on a rainy day in Lancaster and spent an afternoon there (probably could have stayed longer). There were dress-ups, a store, fun games, building-type sections...very cute and really well... We had a great time here! Perfect for toddlers. Nice outdoor play area also. You can spend 2 -3 hours here! Great exhibits & was fun for kids! We stayed at Best Western resort ...only 5minutes down the road. We are also ASTC museum members so we got in for half price! Another plus!
