After stopping in at the visitor center at the lake-they gave us this brochure so we decided to give it a try! Walking in it seemed from the parking lot it was going to be very crowded but once we got in-it seemed nicely spaced out so you didn't feel like people were on top of you at each exhibit!... More

I have revisited this zoo on a few occasions to arrive at an honest conclusion. I'm confirming that this place has no business taking care of animals. The cages are way, way to small. The animals in the cat family pace and appear to be depressed. The giraffe which I hear is now dead had little room. The list goes... More

If you have a heart please skip this place. Don't give them your money! All the animals are in extremely small pens, some only 3-4x the size of the animal, with no vegitation. They were all so docile I think they were sedated. It was heart breaking. Spend your money on a real zoo where you know the animals are... More

Get up close to the animals, bring quarters to get food at the petting section. Great viewing areas, get close to the animals. The lions were very excited to see a customer with a service animal.

My wife and I had a very nice day here. It's a bit pricey and they had no drinks. The staff seem to actually care. And the cages seem a bit dated, but overall I would recommend going here if not just to see the lions they have. Relaxing little animal experience.

My husband and I are animal lovers so we wanted to give this place a try. While it was great to be able to feed and pet some goats and birds, I was a bit saddened to see some of the animals in such small smelly cages. The cages seemed very flimsy and I don't see how they would hold... More

In the event you've been to a standard zoo, you'll not only be discouraged but quite saddened by the deplorable situation and standards both the humans and animals are subject to. The cost is readily in keeping with others competitors, and yet the quality of their habitat is quite deplorable. Their relatives, living wild and free, are doing better.much better... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the zoo in the woods. Great variety of animals in an outstanding setting. Much better than the catskill game farm which we visited after claws and paws. Animals are well attended to and cared for.

In testing animals especially the hands on portion. I feel bad as I walk through the zoo as the animals seem to be in small cages. I am sure they do a great job taking care of them but as an animal lover it breaks my heart but if you want to see animals it is worth the money
