Loved this little animal sanctuary tucked away in the Pocono Mountains. It was very entertaining for both of my kids who range in age from very small to teenager!! Just make sure you wear sneakers as you will be walking on rough terrain. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again in the future!!!

I takes just over an hour to drive to this interesting place. I must start off saying I personally don't care for enclosing animals regardless of the size, esthetically pleasing or so-called "natural" habitats. That being said, I also am grateful for zoos and other animal parks for being there to entertain, educate and save many of these animals for... More

We went with 2 kids and 4 adults. It was a lovely day. The zookeepers were knowledgeable and seemed to care about the animals. We got close to lots of animals who all seemed to be well cared for. Nice to be outside and be able to wander...

The Claws 'N' Paws is definitely a rural experience. It is deep in the countryside so it can be a little challenging to find. I used a GPS with the address they told me to use. It ended up being about 3 miles from the actual location though luckily I saw the signs, keep an eye out for them. The... More

This small zoo exceeded our expectations. there is a good variety of animals in about 5 different groupings. Trails through the woods lead to each area. We agree with some of the comments about the trails being somewhat rough and a challenge for strollers. We also agree that some of the animal enclosures were quite small. But, all-in-all, we had... This was a very nice small zoo and worth the drive to find. My son wanted to see the white tigers; they had this an much more! There was a lot of interactive activities available, including feedings, talks and theater presentations. You don't realize how large the zoo is from the parking lot, but it offers quite a bit. If... What a neat little zoo! Getting there is a little crazy and out of the way of civilization but the animals appear happy and healthy. Got to fees goats and deer and get very close to a giraffe.

Was a nice place to spend a few hrs. And not break the bank. The animal interaction was awesome too, we had monkeys yelping, the camel begging for love. The singing dogs were all on key and the lions loved standing up next to the glass hoping you were going to pet them. We had so many laughs this day... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this little unassuming zoo. We went on an overcast day. Not too busy, up close to exotic animals. Got to feed giraffe, parrots, goats, sheep. Animal show was good. You need to bring your own food. Snack bar was limited. Would plan about 3-4 hours there to do everything.

I was so disaponted with this zoo, I saw a pony eating dirt, what does that tell you? There were rats every where. Most of the animals looked severely depressed, I wanted to cry walking around there. The money that comes in is not used for up keep of the animals. They are in very small in closers, and there... More
