We were pleasantly surprised by this little unassuming zoo. We went on an overcast day. Not too busy, up close to exotic animals. Got to feed giraffe, parrots, goats, sheep. Animal show was good. You need to bring your own food. Snack bar was limited. Would plan about 3-4 hours there to do everything.

I was so disaponted with this zoo, I saw a pony eating dirt, what does that tell you? There were rats every where. Most of the animals looked severely depressed, I wanted to cry walking around there. The money that comes in is not used for up keep of the animals. They are in very small in closers, and there... More

We went because it was close to where we were staying and were delighted with this zoo. It is a little pricey but there is a $1.00 off coupon that reduces the cost. We loved the close-up view of the animals and really enjoyed the petting zoo with the deer and goats. It is in the woods so bring bug... More

This was my first experience to this zoo and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the animals were kept and all the different kind of animals that were present. This attraction is fun for all ages.

I took my son for an afternoon to see the animals at this "zoo". It had just rained the previous day so conditions weren't the best. I have to say that I did enjoy looking at the different species that were there but I did feel sad at the conditions in which they are kept. The enclosures for most weren't... More

Visited today with daughter's elementary school class. Sad, sparse, neglected enclosures - nothing resembling a natural enclosure except for maybe the animals native to the NEPA area. Overweight, sad, lonely-looking animals. 9 year old kids were distressed by the conditions. Complaining to PTA for sponsoring a trip to this 'zoo' - we ought to be teaching our kids better than... claws and paws is a great day to spend with the family, up close and personal with all the animals! feeding the birds and giraffe is the highlight of the day, loved it here,m have been many times and will go again. we always bring a picnic, ample space to eat, although the hotdog and pretzels stands are not overpriced:)

If you have young kids, this is a great place to visit. This "zoo" is set virtually in the woods, you walk trails to the different animals. There are different activities to do during your day including: feeding parrots, feeding the giraffe, dino dig, go into the "turtle town" and shows to learn about the animals. My daughter asks to... This Zoo is a diamond in the rough! You would never know while driving up to it, but once you arrive and enter the Park...WOW! The animals are amazing and most importantly, the staff are ALL friendly and accommodating! Loved our visit and will definitely return our next time through!!
