Thoroughly enjoyed the zoo in the woods. Great variety of animals in an outstanding setting. Much better than the catskill game farm which we visited after claws and paws. Animals are well attended to and cared for.

In testing animals especially the hands on portion. I feel bad as I walk through the zoo as the animals seem to be in small cages. I am sure they do a great job taking care of them but as an animal lover it breaks my heart but if you want to see animals it is worth the money

We visited Claws 'N' Paws in late October and had a great time, despite the surprise rain (no refunds/exchanges for bad weather). They have a wide variety of animals but the most fun for the kids was feeding the lori parrots! You go inside the enclosure and feed them sliced apples provided by the caretakers at designated times. While our... More

We had lots of fun at Claws and paws! Nice faculty and beautiful grounds. You can tell the animals are well taken care of! It's a good family day~~

Claws N Paws is small. The animals are all in small enclosures. They have a very nice variety of animals. Expect for the giraffe, you have to view almost all of them through cages or scratched up glass (which didn't seem all that supportive if you ask me). The animals are all older and bit overweight. Picture taking is difficult... More

We loved feeding the giraffe. We were so interested by the singing dog. A nice relaxing couple of hours. Very rustic

The entire experience at Clawns N Paws is amazing. We loved that we could stroll through the "woods" and look at all the animals and interact with most. We've also visited Space Farms in nearby New Jersey, and we're less than impressed. Unlike Space Farms, at Claws N Paws, you get to see such a broad variety of wild life.... More

While on vacation with my family in Tafton, PA we searched for something local to do. We found a brochure for Paws and Claws, located in Lake Ariel, PA. This is like no other zoo I have been to; simple, rustic and perfect. This is a family owned zoo. It is amazingly clean. They have trails throughout so that you... More

Unlike zoos that have paved parking lots and walk way this place is dirt roads but I think that is so impressive because once you are in and start to explore the animals they are great. There were species that we had not seen before and the Giraffe feeding is great where other places charge they don't. It is a... More

This is perhaps one of the most rustic, and simple "zoo" I have ever been. Not crowded but enjoyed by many people. Pricing was at the high end of what I would be willing to pay but overall it was worth it. Not much in terms of food or vending- but the parking lot is a short 30 sec walk... More
