The entire experience at Clawns N Paws is amazing. We loved that we could stroll through the "woods" and look at all the animals and interact with most. We've also visited Space Farms in nearby New Jersey, and we're less than impressed. Unlike Space Farms, at Claws N Paws, you get to see such a broad variety of wild life.... More

While on vacation with my family in Tafton, PA we searched for something local to do. We found a brochure for Paws and Claws, located in Lake Ariel, PA. This is like no other zoo I have been to; simple, rustic and perfect. This is a family owned zoo. It is amazingly clean. They have trails throughout so that you... More

Unlike zoos that have paved parking lots and walk way this place is dirt roads but I think that is so impressive because once you are in and start to explore the animals they are great. There were species that we had not seen before and the Giraffe feeding is great where other places charge they don't. It is a... More

This is perhaps one of the most rustic, and simple "zoo" I have ever been. Not crowded but enjoyed by many people. Pricing was at the high end of what I would be willing to pay but overall it was worth it. Not much in terms of food or vending- but the parking lot is a short 30 sec walk... More

You will enjoy the ride to this park. Its a small, animal park and I visited with my wife and 2.5 year old daughter. There are quite a few activities for interaction with animals. My daughter enjoyed feeding the Giraffe, sheep goats and interacting with turtles. There is a white tiger too at this park. I was surprised as I... More

Loved this little animal sanctuary tucked away in the Pocono Mountains. It was very entertaining for both of my kids who range in age from very small to teenager!! Just make sure you wear sneakers as you will be walking on rough terrain. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again in the future!!!

I takes just over an hour to drive to this interesting place. I must start off saying I personally don't care for enclosing animals regardless of the size, esthetically pleasing or so-called "natural" habitats. That being said, I also am grateful for zoos and other animal parks for being there to entertain, educate and save many of these animals for... More

We went with 2 kids and 4 adults. It was a lovely day. The zookeepers were knowledgeable and seemed to care about the animals. We got close to lots of animals who all seemed to be well cared for. Nice to be outside and be able to wander...

The Claws 'N' Paws is definitely a rural experience. It is deep in the countryside so it can be a little challenging to find. I used a GPS with the address they told me to use. It ended up being about 3 miles from the actual location though luckily I saw the signs, keep an eye out for them. The... More

This small zoo exceeded our expectations. there is a good variety of animals in about 5 different groupings. Trails through the woods lead to each area. We agree with some of the comments about the trails being somewhat rough and a challenge for strollers. We also agree that some of the animal enclosures were quite small. But, all-in-all, we had...
