when people say a place is expensive they do not understand what it takes to operate asmall retail business driven by seasonal sales. How about decent wages for staff, so to not have to shop in a big box store or mall, you SHOULD shop at this store and the Village shops. The quality is better than all the rest... More

Stopped here looking for some stuff my wife needed for an Italian themed dinner she was planning. Without going into details, she found everything she needed! In the meanwhile, I had the best espresso in recent memory. Overall, worth a visit.

My wife and I visited Casa Casale in Peddler's Village on Monday, 10/19/2015. When we inquired about the price of the Villa Manodori Artigianale balsamic vinegar, we were told $56.00. This product is available all over NYC (including tourist destinations) for under $46.00. Although, I recognize that Peddler's Village is a tourist destination and as such, mark ups may be... More

Wonderful store, knowledgeable staff. A taste of Italy right here. My husband and I stopped in just to browse and were taken in by the wonderful inventory, the friendly staff and the beautiful setting.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were many varieties of pasta to choose from as well as tastings of spreads and cheeses. If you want a different pasta they probably have it. Dishes for sale were beautiful but not many were made in Italy. It was a nice specialty shop.

Ive visited this store 4 times and eberytime i find something new to buy. However, be mindful that you will pay a lot for it. I live visiting the village specially around the holidays.

Just happened to be wandering around Peddler's Village and came across Casa Casale. It's a beautiful shop with a delicious, beautiful and unique inventory. It's rare to find a place that sells food products that you would only expect to find locally in the Italian Market in South Philly. It's excellent to know that Casa Casale carries such a wide... Very friendly staff offering samples of cheeses, spreads, and many Italian specialities. Huge selection of pastas, sauces, oils, and everything Italian including an Expresso bar. Worth it just to walk around the store and do a little taste testing before you buy anything.
