This was a good use of a couple hours and a great way to get out of the heat on a very hot day! The caves are intersting and fun, with knowledgeable tour guides leading the way. It does seem a little rushed, so you can't really just stop and admire the natural beauty and really examine what the caves... More

I really enjoyed Crystal Cave! The tour guides gave you lots of info and took lots of questions! My favorite thing in the cave was the 'ice cream cone' or stalagtites and stalagmites. The cave was 56 degrees so it was really nice to get away from the 90 degree weather. I really enjoyed it and so did my friends!

I have boys and we like going to caves. We have been in half a dozen or more in the last year. Crystal Cave has a nice quiet, backwoods setting, but that's about the extent of what it has going for it. It was expensive for what you get. The cave was pretty small, the tour group was very large.... More

Kids and adults alike will enjoy this peek underground; do-able for the claustrophobic or some mobility-challenged. A nice cool respite from the heat in the summer as well. Fascinating view of stalactites & stalagmites, and a great place to get kitschy souvenirs. First went as a Cub Scout, later as an adult.

I haven't been to Crystal Cave in several years, but considering how many years it took to form those "ites", I can't imagine things being much different today. I went in June and it was probably 100 degrees outside. I found it to be a great choice to be underground where the temp was substantially less! I am fascinated by... More

Nice family outing and interesting. Not a place you'd go frequently, but good to see once.

Went in July last year on a historical recreation - candlelight tour at night. What fun! It was amazing to see what it looked like with lanterns and imagine how it was in the 1800s! The gift shop was a real step back in time - though maybe just 40 years. Loved it - a real sweet adventure!

I've been to Crystal Cave a number of times on family vacations as a child, school trips and when friends have visited and wanted to take a peek. It is a small cave (at least the part you are allowed to see) and I don't think they do a good enough job explaining the geology and history. There is a... More
