Flickerwood Wine Cellars was a welcome site as we needed a bottle of wine for the BYOB Portabello's Restaurant across the street. We made a quick purchase of a good wine at a bargain price (20% off take out wine on a Tuesday).

Had a fun time here, drinking a couple of flights after lunch. The wine isn't anything to write home about but the tasting room and service were great!

My favorite wine places even though I live in Delaware. You can bring your own food including trying something at a local restaurant. I enjoy flickerberry dew wine and pink Catawba wine. Cheese trays are also worth a try. My favorite thing about it flickerwood is the atmosphere. I can spend hours here.

Favorably impressed in my first few visits to this tasting room, which operates more like a bohemian cafe in the mornings and afternoons with plenty of comfortable seating, tons of interesting decor and wine-related items to buy, great coffee and pastries, some savory items / light breakfast fare. The place was incredibly busy on a Friday morning recently and the... More

We visited the afternoon May 24 2015. We've had Flickerwood wines at their home location in Kane PA so we were looking forward to sampling their wines again. I ordered a glass of the Bruiser. After 5 minutes the server said they were all out, was there something else you would like to try. So I ordered a different wine.... More

Horrible wine, eclectic ambience with album covers as art work decorating the walls. No food offerings. Felt like I was invited to a weird little party where I had to drink crappy wine. They did have some cute overpriced wine themed gifts for purchase.

I have been to many wine tasting establishments, but Flickerwood in Kennett Square was well worth a stop! Our server was beyond friendly, knew her wine and gave us great recommendations! The key to me is whether I end up buying wine to take home..and I did!!

My college room mate and I shared a delightful hour of relaxation and conversation. The gal behind the wine bar gave excellent suggestions for the reds we like and shared her knowledge of companion cheeses...super yummy! Just the appetizers we needed! Came away with three bottles for home. A great find on a rainy afternoon. Will definitely come back again.... More

Decided to stop in on a Saturday night. Wine bar was pretty crowded but we were able to get a couple of seats. We tried a flight of dry reds and one white. Neither of us were impressed with any of the wines. Such a shame since the atmosphere and music was pretty cool.
