What a wonderful outing we had. The 12 of us ( 8 adults, 1 teen, 2 preteens and one 8 yr. old ) couldn't have had a better time. After donning our life jackets and photo op-ing, we gathered around our head guide AJ for safety instructions, gathered our bail buckets and headed to the bus. During our 20 minute... More

We just did the intro to white water on June 14th we had wanted to do the Class 3 but the river wasn't up enough. I have no complaints as they fit us in on the schedule when we stopped on Friday after we knew the weather forecast. If you are expecting a tour guide in your raft there isn't... More

The folks here are truly organized. They offer great trips and know the river well. They provide great instruction and are safety conscious

First time "white water rafting" not sure what to expect (dam release weekend), but our guides were great and JT Rafting would be the group I would go with again. The other groups were bigger and more congested going down the river. Our guides were obviously more experienced at leading because the other groups seemed to have more rafts stuck... More

We went with a bus load of new friends from Brooklyn area and we got held up as we were leaving the city. Even though we were really late for our appointment, the staff were able to fit us in when we were scheduled to go out. They adapted quickly on the fly and did our safety briefing on the... More

Went on their easy river rafting trip with my husband and son. They found it a little tame but it was perfect for me and lively family time. It was well organized and the guides were terrific. Thought the Lehigh River would be more scenic but it was clean.

I just got back from a great weekend in Jim Thorpe and the highlight was rafting on the Lehigh with Jim Thorpe River Adventures! I have used other rafting companies on the river but this was by far the most enjoyable run for me yet! The guides were very friendly and attentive on and off the river. My boyfriend and... More

Let me start out by saying that we have done class 3-4 rapids in Panama and a week long rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. Both of these trips were great fun, yet uniquely different. The Jim Thorpe River Adventure is yet another unique way to enjoy rafting. We chose a Saturday damn release experience and had a great time!... More

3 of my friends and I did the class 3 rapids adventure recently and were very unimpressed. I have rafted before in West Virginia on class 5 rapids and that was organized and run more professionally than JT Adventures. We were equipped with a life vest and paddle yet no helmets yet the guides all had helmets. This should have... More

We took the 2:30pm Saturday rafting trip on the 1st dam release weekend. What a fun time. The four of us laughed so much! We're planning on making this an annual trip! Be prepared to work your arms/shoulders and thighs. We took the Touch of class 2 trip and can't wait to try class 3! Buy the lunch or take... More
