We came by in the winter time, there was snow everywhere, adding to that "magical winter feel". The train station is a historical station kept very well. This is photographers heaven. You have the historical station view, and tall beautiful mountains in the background. We did not take the ride but rather just checked it out. Its right by Main... More

We took our 3 year old grandson. Train was cold, no festive music or decor. Traveled up the track, stopped and reversed for a very short and expensive ride with a few minute visit from Santa. Don't waste your time or money.

Its nice but not something you need to do more than once. There special rides are nice but they tend to get pricey.

It wa sa fun ride. The Scenic ride, the early spring weather and the bikers waving out to us as we Choo Chooed Along. Good Value and Fun Ride. Use the restrooms at the Train station before boarding :)

My 4 year old daughters and I very much enjoyed this train ride with our family. We rode in the open air car and even though it was a chilly and wet October day, we made sure to be bundled up and had a blast enjoying the beautiful fall scenery. I would say open air is worth the extra amount... More

If you want to know some history, go to the Railway Station. The Story Boards tell quite a bit on the town & Railway there. Pretty neat... plus the train is red and enticing to ride. Fun place to stop by while walking the town.

We all went on this train ride, and friends brought their almost-two-year-old little guy for the Santa special. It was delightful to see it all through his eyes- the joy was there for each of us. The weather cooperated by giving us a snowfall a couple of days prior to the journey, which added much to the seasonal feeling. It... More

Nice scenic train ride for an hour. The cabin from the train is from 1920's. Once in a life time experience. You can see the biking and hiking trail, water falls, creeks, mountains etc.
