Really enjoyed my day out on Catch-A-Crab. The hosts were very accomadating & informative. Enjoyed pumping for yabbies, pulling in the muddies and relaxing on the boat. Was great to watch everyone laughing, smiling and enjoying themselves. Loved eating the fresh mud crab. The meat is so tasty when its fresh. Recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing day with... Excellent afternoon, caught Yabbies, Crabs, and even a small fish. Fed the pelicans and got to eat the Crab meat. Crew was informative and helpful.

We went in June which is winter. Weather was sunny but can get chilly when the wind blows so bring a jacket. The yabbies catching was really fun and the kids had a great time but we only manage to catch one. We do see a lot of "soldier crabs" though. The crab catching part was a little disappointing though... More

We went for the $80 package which included seafood basket lunch n 2 portions of crab. We fed the pelicans, did yabbie pumping, fishing n bring up the net containing crab which the operator placed earlier. Overall it is a refreshing experience n the lunch comprising crab, oyster n fish n chip was delicious n fresh. Worth the amount spent.

Hi. We booked thru penthouse apartment ard 2nd week of February 2014. Initially the trip was nice. When we came back to our apartment our nightmare started. Our group of 5 adults and 3 children got bitten so badly by sand flies that till today fourth week of February we still suffer from the massive sand flies bites all over... More

The trip started with yabbies catching. The yabbies were used to fishing later. The staff did provide some knowledge on crabs but in the whole trip we can never try catching crabs. The so-called catch a crab was just giving us a crab to hold for pictures. We can never tried the real experience. You have to pay for your... More

Hello, Thank you for your four star rating of Catch a Crab! We offer a crab trapping demonstration on our trip which includes trapping and handling of the crabs + the famous crab show. We are not a crab fishing tour so it is not quite the same as a fishing trip. We offer lunch packages and an A La... More

We thought of giving our children an education trip by booking Catch a Crab (with meal & transport) but it turn out to be a nightmare for us. We've book thru internet and get confirmation on the booking but on that day, no transport was there to pick us up and after making several calls then they replied that it's... More

Hello, We are very sorry that the confusion with the transfer spoilt your day, the transfer is provided by a separate company and we organise the transfer merely as service. When you notified us that you had not been collected from your hotel, we did do our best to arrange and pay for a taxi for you to bring you... More

Way to spend our morning around GoldCoast airport before our flight back to Sydney. 1) Pelican feeding, get your hands dirty with some pilchards 2) Yabby pumping is great fun although I would recommend board shorts and a t-shirt you are happy to get wet in. 3) Crab catching involves each group pulling up a preset bait trap. We had... More
