A bunch of four middle aged blokes stayed at Thredbo Alpine Apartments at the end of August. I don't think there is a better location in Thredbo. Staggering back after a day's skiing was as easy as it could get. The facilities are a little tired but perfectly comfortable and the ski locker room downstairs is one of the best... More

Skied Thredbo last weekend for first time in 25 years. So disappointing that lifts and runs are so old and tired. Angle iron lift towers, aging T-bars and highly visible rust are a giveaway. Grooming during the day was non existant with rocks and dirt showing thru across many runs. The lift company must be making a fortune. The high... More

Thredbo is a great place for me as I am a member of a ski lodge there and I live only 2 hr's drive away. So its quite economical for me. But a trip to Thredbo for a family staying in commercial accommodation is quite expensive. Skiing at Thredbo can be very good, especially when there is fresh snow. Weekends... More

Went skiing last month here for 3 days and the whole place is pretty incredible. We stayed about 30km away in the town of Jindabyne. Well worth taking a look and walking round the lake. We drove up from Melbourne and the whole drive over the mountains before you get to Thredbo is beautiful. We purchased our 3 day ski... More

Have just finished 3 days skiing week beginning 11th August. Over the last decade I would have skied here on about 15 days on about 5 occasions and these 3 days were without doubt the best conditions experienced. Fresh 10cm of snow for my day 1 and zero temperatures through the day and each night meant the snow surface held... More

Thredbo is great for families but the skiing is a little more for the intermediate. The road in there is great and chains are required for all vehicles except 4WD's The village is quaint, with a little bit of shopping and restaurants.....perhaps not for those on a budget. :)

Brilliant place! Great cafes and friendly locals. Good shuttle bus run between village and Friday flats. Great pool in the leisure centre.

2014 has been an outstanding winter season. Thredbo is a treat. Resort staff are very friendly and helpful, buses, lifts, etc are all very well organised. Ski instructors are excellent, especially those who work with the kids. Two thumbs up.

I'm not one for writing reviews but this place has really wasted my hard earned money and week of annual leave, this will be the first and last time I come to thredbo, I have been to mt bulla, mt hotham & neisko previously In the last couple of years. The only thing good about the trip was the alpine... More

Ticket people were rude. The staff that was suppose to control the cue was uncaring of who many people was coming in. didn't even start until my wife got hit by some punk as kid from behind and she twisted her knee in the cue. After we went to the ticket office to ask for refund the lady first refused... More
