There's so much to do, if you're willing to go outside and find it. Be warned it can be quite chilly.

Everyone so friendly. We have been here Winter & Summer and love the vibe of the place. Try the coffee at the little shop near the super market. In summer some shops do keep odd hours so check before you go.

We really enjoyed our spring skiing experience at Thredbo. Our kids got the 3 days for 2 beginners lessons which were well worth it, they learnt to ski pretty well, the staff were excellent in teaching them, it was such a good trip and well worth it. We stayed in Jindabyne at "The Elements East" apartments which by far is... More

We drove there but after Perisher we were a little dissappointed. Melt had begun on the lower valley. Kids had fun on the small toboggan area (clothing hire expensive for just a few hours of fun). Chairlift was nice though.

I loved my week at Thredbo. The late spring skiing was so much fun. I have skiied nearly 30 days this year across three resorts and I know good snow. This was not good snow, it was good spring snow. The resort was quiet, but loads of fun. I like the village atmosphere, the shops and the food options, make... More

Being Canadian, it seems everybody wanted to give me their advises on Thredbo before we got there! Well, coming from the East coast of Canada (where the highest slope is 650M, -15C and icy conditions are the norm), I truly enjoyed Thredbo. The mountain offers challenging and smooth rides (blue rides are real ones, not greenish), caring for all levels.... More

For a european atmosphere, especially in winter, this is the place to visit. Top notch cafes and restaurants for the fussiest of diners. Family friendly and a fabulous romantic destination as well (outside of school holidays). Always lots to do all year round.

Thredbo nightlife was a lot quieter than expected - where'd it go?! I'm told Perisher is a lot more active...

As you would expect the village is expensive in all seasons, best lace to go for a drink or eat is at the top of Kosciuszko Express chairlift for a beer.

We have payed a fortune as expected, however what definitely was not expected the incredibly rude and hungover staff! Though id expect the 2 NIGHT RAVE PARTY might have everything to do with the staffs deminor! Thredbo need to realise that they are here for... More
