The water is an unbelievably beautiful blue, endless picnic spots to have lunch or watch the sunset, and not too cold to swim in in April. We hired a 2 person glass bottom kayak and paddled out to the island off the beach, around to Old Settlement Beach and then North Bay and back again within an hour and a... More

Due to the reef the lagoon never has ocean waves which makes it great for swimming and snorkelling and safe for kids. We snorkelled out around the rocky islands and saw a huge variety of beautiful fish.

Don't miss a visit to Lagoon beach and swim with the turtles. We had turtles swim with us every day we visited here. They are massive and will stay right near you if you leave them alone. Beautiful snorkelling here too if you can bring gear with you. Crystal clear waters and nice long sandy beach. BBQ facilities also on... More

This is a perfect lazy lagoon. Perfect for sunset watching, perfect for swimming in the warm crystal clear water, perfect for kayaking, perfect for lazing or strolling on the sand, perfect for diving or snorkelling among the 500 varieties of colourful fish and the beautiful coral gardens.

This place ( like any other place in LHI) is picture perfect). Here you can go for a beach walk, go swimming or snorkelling ( personally I like Ned's beach better for snorkelling unless you are on a snorkelling tour), have a BBQ on the grassed area near the beach and just relax. We liked getting sausages from Top Shop... More

This beach is just pristine, you have to blink twice because the water is so aqua blue it just doesnt look real. Crystal clear warm water that you just want to dive into, amazing snorkeling again a little further out. So safe and just devine.

This is the most tranquil place to cool off and do some snorkeling. Beautifully maintained grassed shaded area with seating and bbqs. A lot of the activities go from this area and close to Earl's Anchorage for a great coffee or meal

This beautiful protected beach on the eastern side of the island is the islands main beach. The view is picturesque with white sands & turquoise water. The beach is protected by a beautiful coral reef. There are several hire company's were you can Dive, snorkel, canoe or take glass bottom boat tours. It was suggested to us to take the... More
