Made use of the for hire snorkelling gear in the beach shed. Well worth the cheap hire price when you don't have your own.We had only one perfect calm day amongst the seven we were on the Island and used that to snorkel in the beautiful coral just off the beach. Beautiful coral and plentiful fish all around us. We... More

Come down at low tide for the best snorkelling. You can actually hire all your gear at the beach for only $3.50 for an hour! It's an honesty system so you pop your cash in a box and help yourself to the gear - such is the refreshing and trusting culture on this island. Bring some one dollar coins along... More

This is a special place for snorkelling and feeding the fish - many species, just be careful not to get nipped!

So much fun to buy $1 of food and have all colour and size of fish come right up to you to feed. Also a lovely sheltered spot to swim/snorkel and stunning blue water

Perfect for reef snorkelling from the beach. Mutton Birds return to land each evening. Water temperature December 2014 was 22 degrees which was refreshing and pleasant once wet.

A great small beach, well sheltered where the fish come to be fed. A dispenser machine for food. Also an honesty box to hire beach equipment and snorkels, fins, etc

Ned's Beach is a beautiful place to visit. Fish feeding is so much fun - pellets available for purchase for $1. A few steps into the water, and you can be snorkelling over beautiful coral, with lots of different fish. At low tide, it is very interesting to walk around the exposed reef - lots of sea urchins, sea hares... More
