Have the exotic fish swim around you legs whilst you feed them on this untouched beach. Snorkeling in the most southern coral reef will be something you won't forget in a long time and make you want to bring the whole family back for an experience to remember.

This beach was picturesque, bbq facilities and an honesty policy for beach hire equipment such as paddle boards. Walk into the water ankle deep and hundreds of colourful fish and kingfish swim around your ankles so you can feed them by hand! amazing experience!

Staying at Lorhiti Lodge provided easy access along a private path to Ned's Beach. We swam each day and weren't disappointed in the range of fish sighted and the quality of the underwater photos taken. We took our own snorkeling gear but you can also hire equipment from the hut on the beach (reasonable rates/ honor system).

We are inexperienced snorkellers and I am a very average swimmer, but we could have snorkelled here for hours. There are so many beautiful fish to see just metres off the beach (after you get past the hilarious experience of hundreds of fish wanting food from you the second you step in!) No need for wetsuits in April, and the... More

Wonderful to feed the fish at the water's edge and then great to go out just a little way to lovely safe reef and lots of fish and coral. You can hire your snorkels and flippers by the "honesty" system at the beach hut.

If it's too windy at Old Settlement Beach, then pop over to Neds. Of course it's absolutely beautiful to be on Ned's beach - it's pristine. I'm going to be a 'party pooper' I absolutely dislike the feeding of the fish event. I watched as some people were bitten and they soon ran out of the water - it's really... More

Standing knee deep feeding so many fish was great but the snorkelling was fantastic! So much to see and great visibility.

Best snorkelling at neds beach. The water is so clean and clear. You can hire fins and snorkel sets at the beach for a nominal fee. It's an honesty system(leave money in box). You can also feed the fish that come really close to shore in the shallows and around your feet. Fantastic experience for all.

Calm, lots of fish etc. sheltered, good for any person that can (sort of) swim, easy to get to. Amenities on site, no shops so take drinks etc with you.
