A pristine beach, where if you roll up your trousers and have a paddle the fish come right up and swim against your legs or if you decide to have a swim or snorkel(equipment available at Neds hut on the Beach) get a little further from the shore in the clear clean water it's fantastic, a good stretch of sand... A beautiful reef beach where you can feed the fish, snorkel and sunbath even in winter. Great on a day when the westerlies are blowing. Fabulous photos all around the beach cove. You know it's good when the locals come down for a family birthday party.

Neds Beach blew us away with excitement. Only 4 people there any time we went to feed the fish. Huge big drummers, mullet, enormous kingfish and small reef sharks swim up and down the waters edge and must see when you get close to the waters edge as many more come close in as they sense you have food for... A neat clean beach where you can buy inexpensive fish food pellets on an honour system, to feed fish swimming swimming around your ankles next to the shore. The snorkelling is safe and enjoyable, viewing colorful fish and coral, and turtles. The beach is readily accessible by walking or cycling through picturesque scenery.

Even after reading the reviews i was blown away by Ned's! We went there a couple of times during our stay, and I would have happily gone back more. Walking into the water and having dozens of fish circle around you is a little surreal, and particularly as some of them were quite large. We took advantage of the honesty... More

As someone of middle age now I still was excited to visit a beach where you could feed the fish and swim with if you wanted. To look out to the islands as you sit nestled in the sand just watching the waves glisten in the gently warming sun was bliss. I'm not much of a relaxer but this beach... More

Lovely spot for walking, swimming, snorkelling, fish feeding and just relaxing with a good book.. Also great to watch sunsets. There is an undercover picnic area and a honesty box for hire of wetsuits, flippers, rashies, snorkels, paddle boards etc ..

Ned's beach is a great spot to chill out, swim and people watch. Although there maybe a few others about it is a really peaceful spot. The added attraction is that there is the opportunity to feed fish and have them swim alongside, for which food can be acquired in the covered area at the back of the beach. If... More
