Breezy on one side sheltered the other. Ned's was our choice for taking some fish photos and having our BBQ from Pinetrees. Perfect in every way. The fish gather whether or not you have food. The dispenser was broken on the day we went but fish food was on sale at the shops. The terns were nesting at the far... More

Loved the beach and the fish. The honesty box for all the snorkelling gear a great idea. The facilities all well maintained.

There is a shed on the beach, you leave your money in an honesty box, and take a cup of feed for the fish. Large fish swim right up to you as you feed them. There are also wetsuits, snorkel gear etc in the shed, once again you leave your money for the "hire" of the gear in the honesty... More

Beautiful views from all angles. Fish feeding, rock pool fosicking, paddling in the water, beach walks, and more fish including Galapagos sharks and Parrot fish.

Great sheltered bay beach with calm surf and with both fire and electric BBQ facilities. Fantastic for picnics and swimming. I understand there is fish feeding here were you walk in the water and the fish come to you. I went in August so not keen to get into the water.

As is found everywhere on Lord Howe Island, a shed full of wetsuits, snorkels, flippers etc with a price list on the wall, is available for hire....just pop your money in an Honesty Box.

A pristine beach, where if you roll up your trousers and have a paddle the fish come right up and swim against your legs or if you decide to have a swim or snorkel(equipment available at Neds hut on the Beach) get a little further from the shore in the clear clean water it's fantastic, a good stretch of sand... A beautiful reef beach where you can feed the fish, snorkel and sunbath even in winter. Great on a day when the westerlies are blowing. Fabulous photos all around the beach cove. You know it's good when the locals come down for a family birthday party.

Neds Beach blew us away with excitement. Only 4 people there any time we went to feed the fish. Huge big drummers, mullet, enormous kingfish and small reef sharks swim up and down the waters edge and must see when you get close to the waters edge as many more come close in as they sense you have food for...
