As someone of middle age now I still was excited to visit a beach where you could feed the fish and swim with if you wanted. To look out to the islands as you sit nestled in the sand just watching the waves glisten in the gently warming sun was bliss. I'm not much of a relaxer but this beach... More

Lovely spot for walking, swimming, snorkelling, fish feeding and just relaxing with a good book.. Also great to watch sunsets. There is an undercover picnic area and a honesty box for hire of wetsuits, flippers, rashies, snorkels, paddle boards etc ..

Ned's beach is a great spot to chill out, swim and people watch. Although there maybe a few others about it is a really peaceful spot. The added attraction is that there is the opportunity to feed fish and have them swim alongside, for which food can be acquired in the covered area at the back of the beach. If... More

Hundreds of fish come to feed (can purchase feed at the beach). Swim around your legs… watch for the small reef sharks that zoom in to catch the fish… can be startling. Snorkelling is good. BBQs and shelter… wood provided.

Unbelievable to stand in a few cms of water with so many fish around our feet. Great walk from our accommodation, for such a rewarding experience. Could have snorkelled there as well for a small fee. Lots of swimming equipment in the hut at the beach, with an honour system for use.

This is a beautiful spot, the water is turquoise blue. You buy fish food at the shelter shed ($1) and walk into the water and as soon as you throw the food in the fish of all colours and sizes swarm around you in a feeding frenzy. Great fun and they are so beautiful. Also at this beach if you... More

This is amazing! At Ned's Beach you can feed the fish with pellets. There are hundreds of fish that swim up and around your legs as you stand in the waves.

Great opportunity to get up close and personal with the local fish, including sharks! Try to go to the beach at first light if you want to see the BIG fish! Hand feeding is a real buzz. Water is unbelievably clear and there are snorkelling gear etc available to hire via an honesty system as well!

Enjoyed the sunrise, clean white sand, clear water, bird life, safe for snorkelling, hire gear, have a picnic & fun feeding the feeding. This beach is a marine reserve.
