This pristine beach is set in an idyllic location and never feels crowded despite its popularity. Fish feeding is an incredible must do experience but snorkelling was even more fun. There is an amazing diversity of marine life just. Few metres from the shore and I saw a green turtle and small shark among the garden of coral, which is... More

Ned's beach located on the Eastern side of the island can be a little windy at times but is one not to be missed. Well known for its fish feeding, you can wonder down to the beach at anytime although low tide is probably the best time. If you wonder into the water in front of the shelter you will... More

A truly lovely beach. Just a short, lovely walk / drive / cycle, along the road through the lovely Kenia palms and trees of Lord Howe. There's a nice lawned area / park / car park / picnic area overlooking the beach and surrounding headlands. The covered beach shed offers beach umbrellas, flippers, snorkles, boards, etc. All offered on an... More

Liked everything especially as there are no snakes or anything else that could harm you including sharks they seem to stay away because of the reef

This is my favourite place on Lord Howe Island You can buy some fish pellets at the shop in town an feed the fish and watch the different species come in for a feed or just kick back on the beach and have a swim or snorkel

This beach is stunning. From the large variety of fish which come in to be hand feed by visitors. Fish food $1 a cup to the coral outcrops, rocks and seagrass for the fish to hide in and feed from. There is an amazing variety of fish, so colourful and beautiful. Coral is about 2 metres under the water and... More

Cant imagine there are so many fish so close to shore expecting you to feed them. It is a nice beach, not many people, some coral not too far but they seems to start dying, but still worth to go.

The snorkelling at Ned's is amazing, it's like swimming in an aquarium. There is a great array of fish and watching the fish feeding (from underwater) is another experience altogether. There are coral outcrops, seagrass and lots of rocks for the abundant fish life to hide in or feed from. The reef sharks can be a little too nosey at... More
