Not an actual tour! Bit disappointing and the word chocolate in the name is a sneaky way to attract tourists when it's not in fact a chocolate factory but a licorice factory - chocolate is not made on the premises. Although I am a licorice lover others in our group came for the chocolate and were left disappointed. Setting is... More

Was a fantastic experience love the old building, history and being educated about how the business makes the chocolate products and licorice... fantastic way to try before you buy their products also... just a great find!

Nice place to visit and break up a trip. Fantastic old building. Bistro food was surprisingly good on the very busy day we went, certainly better than we had expected. Cosy front room to laze around in and no high pressure selling from the confectionery counter, but plenty of tasting ! Very generous. The chocolate however is nothing to write... More

We were driving through Junee, saw the signs and decided to stop, as we love licorice and chocolate. What a surprise we got, as we stepped into old world charm at this well preserved and maintained building. As we looked around we were warmly greeted by all staff, including those behind the glass in the manufacturing section. We stopped to... More

Wow ,what a pleasant surprise when driving to Queensland . Just saw the sign on side of the road and detoured to check it out. Well worth the stop, had a great coffee and a wonderful guided tour ( worth paying for) by a very charming young Lady , it was interesting to both see and hear how Licorice was... More

It was great seeing the process of chocolate and licorice making. The girl conducting the free guided tour was knowledgable and seemed to really love her job. The building is a bit of a rabbit warren and very crowded when there are more than five people in there but I suppose because it used to be an old flour mill... More

It had been awhile since our last visit to the Licorice and Chocolate factory so once again we took a friend there for lunch. Wish we hadn't. My wife and I ordered the Steak and Egg sandwich. Both were cold. My wife took hers back and got a refund for it ($18.50) I finished eating mine as I was hungry...I... More

Did the tour and then decided to eat at the restaurant. We were very excited to order the open steak sandwich as it is "local meat". $17 for 1/3 fat and 2/3 minute steak. And overcooked to make matters worse. My wife took hers back and we at least got 1 refund bit seriously guys, if you want to charge... More

Although a long way from our home, we make a point of always stopping in Junee to stock up on chocolate and licorice when we are anywhere near the area. It is an interesting location in the old Flour Mill in Junee and it is set up well for tours of the old mill to see how the licorice and... More
