..... I cycled through here on my way from Suffolk Park to Byron Bay on a number of occasions and always stopped and took time out . A very beautiful place ....

Initially a bit disappointed because there seemed to be a short sandy trail through scrubby bush and nothing more. But even though the walk only took approx. 30 minutes we saw lizards, wallabies, echidna, and a black snake right in front of our feet!

To be able to walk in an almost untouched natural enviroment by the sea with the sounds of native birds and the odd passing by of the native wildlife, if your quiet enough as you walk you will be surprised by the magic of nature and the stillness it can bring to the heart and soul

A lovely place to walk through, teaming with birdlife, wallabies and a few reptiles. Easy access to the creek and beach via this piece of Land owned by the Arakwal people of Byron Bay

It's a well - thought out trip, especially if walking the dog, riding bikes with family. An unspoilt part of the small amount of wilderness, even "friendly wilderness" which can be enjoyed by all age groups.

Take time to enjoy this as time is as long as the moment you take to believe in such beauty. Take walk along a beach enter a palm forest and climb coastal escapement with vies of surf peeling dolphins sharing waves turtles and sharks living together with whales diving into golden pink clouds electrified by summer storms. Sit a while... More

Tallow beach and it's lagoons are a bit of paradise. The mood of the beach changes hour by hour, day by day. No two walks are ever the same. Erosion and rising seas pose a risk to this precious environment.

Beautiful walk to pristine Tallows Beach. See abundant bird life and occasionally a wallaby. This is a national park so it is a dog free zone.

Probably the best park and beach in Byron. Never crowded and beautiful. No lifeguards but plenty of other beaches have them if you are not confident in the surf. Great cultural significance to local aboriginal people.
