I loved this place. Seriously, I would live here if a career was viable. I Live in Camden Town in London which is one of my favourite places, but this slightly edges it because of all the beaches. This is a must if you are in the area

The weather was warm just like the people. Be prepared to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. it is a very stunning part of Australia. Great restaurants, Visit the markets at Mullumbimby and Byron. Some nice drives up to Mt Tambourine and also visit Brunswick Heads.

A great day out from Surfers Paradise to get away from the high rises. Lovely beach with kids park & toilets. The $7 charge for the parking at the lighthouse is a bit much but was well worth it seeing whales in the sea, wallabies in the bush & lorikeets flying about. Worth the trip

I lived in Australia for 6 years and went to LOTS of places but Byron Bay definitely takes the number 1 spot. Great beach, food, vibes, and the daily run to the lighthouse makes a prefect day. Don't forget to take a good book with you :)

If you ever have the chance, travel to Bryon Bay, NSW, Australia. This town is such a laid back place, were you will find many attractive sights, such as the wonderful beaches, lovely walks in near by forest, and so many cafes and night life to keep you active all day and night. But if you just want to unwind,... More

I have always had a policy of looking for the best in places that I visit. I finally got to do something that had been on my to do list for years. What a disappointment. Took a trip up to the famous lighthouse. Went around the minuscule car park a number of times with no luck. If we had found... More

We love Byron Bay - its a great place to go and do nothing and just relax on the beach or at a cool café in town. We recommend that you choose accommodation close to town as taxi's and travel can be expensive and inconvenient.

We had only half day to visit Byron Bay. We went directly to the lighthouse. It was very crowded and we hardly found a place to park the car. Although, we climbed to the lighthouse and we were amazed by the views. The eastern point in Australia has the most beautiful views in this area. Then we decided to go... More
